Ra'keth awoke lying on a soft, white bed. He blinked a few times, trying to rid his green eyes of the battle-field dust. The Eckolon slowly sat himself up, and looked around the room. It was nice. Clean, white walls, many beds of the same colour, and a cute looking nurse whom Ra'keth could see was hastily making and tidying beds.
Ex-- His voice cracked horribly; must've been from all the...activites he had just participated in. The nurse jumped a little, obviously startled by the noise, but she quickly regained her composure and turned around to see who had woken up. She saw Ra'keth sitting up in bed, smiled, and walked toward him. By this time, the Eckolon's pale blue face had gone a pinky red. Maybe he could get it right this time. He cleared his throat Excuse me, he managed without cracking. But could you tell me what time, or day it is? She giggled, obviously noticing the red tinge on her patient's cheeks. Sure. It's the twenty-third, and it's about noon. The girl looked at the floor, then back at the Eckolon, who once more cleared his throar to ensure no more embarressments. Thanks you, now, if you'll excuse me, I've got to find someone. He said with a smile. The nurse opened her mouth to say something, but then closed it, nodded, gave a smile and returned to her work at the other end of the room. Ra'keth wiped at his brow. *Phew! Glad I didn't screw up anymore than I did... Oh well, time to get out of here and find something to do!* And with that, he dissappeared from the infirmary.
After being patched up in the infirmary, Drakkar felt the fighting spirit in him once again. My training has paid off. I... defeated that man, Gokan. But I must practice, still, because Kenu could finish me off. I will... search for a tough match and I WILL win.
With that, Drakkar walked out the doors. He would become stronger than Dante.
Drakkar didn't know where he was. In other words, he was lost, and hated to admit it to himself. I know I'm not in the Western Continent anymore. I'm... too cold for that. Maybe if I fly south a little bit I can make it.
So Drakkar jumped into the skies once again, feeling the warmth of the sun on his Namekian skin. "This is it. All uphill from now on. I can't lose. I just have to... hope."
Several minutes after his death, Kenu returned to his conscious state. He slowly opened his eyes and revealed them to the brightness of the lights that radiated above him. With a slight groan Kenu quickly closed his sensitive eyes, and tried to sit himself up on the medical bed he was on. “Ah!” The Saiya-jin suddenly yelled out in pain, his eyes opening wide, as he soon realized his body was too sore to perform any movements. Damn it, why is this happening?...I should be fully healed... Kenu thought to himself, as he lay back in bed and later heard rapid foot steps advancing towards him. The Saiya-jin’s eyes quickly moved to the right, but whoever or whatever was making the noise could not been seen. “Who’s there?!” Kenu yelled out. “It’s me your nurse. I heard you yelling, so I thought I’d check up on you. Apparently you’ve woken up.” The voice of a young girl answered the Saiya-jin from the left. “How’d you get over there?” Kenu asked, moving his eyes to the left to see the nurse. The nurse just giggled and left the Saiya-jin’s question unanswered, as she spoke of a new subject. “I’m guessing that you’ve just realized how much pain it is for you to even try and move? Well don’t worry, it’s just a side effect. But out of all my patients, so far you’ve been the only one to exhibit the effects.” “Does that mean I get a sponge bath?” Kenu asked smiling, as he let out a light laugh but quickly stopped when that too hurt him. The nurse giggled at the question and this time decided to answer Kenu, “No, but you get something better than a sponge bath. This…” The nurse then reached into one of the pockets her skirt had, and pulled out a small object to show Kenu. “A bean?" The Saiya-jin said with a confused look. “It’s no ordinary bean, it has magical healing powers. Eat it and the side effects will vanish.” The nurse replied, smiling, as she placed the bean inside her patient’s mouth.
Chewing the bean the best he could and later swallowing it, Kenu could instantly feel his body strengthening and returning to normal. “Do you happen to know where my sword is?” The Saiya-jin asked the nurse, just now noticing that he couldn’t feel his sword and its sheath on his back. “Yes, it’s laying against your bed to your right.” She answered. Kenu then nodded, and quickly sat himself up from bed. Leaning his body towards the right side of the medical bed, the Saiya-jin’s eyes caught sight of his sheath that contained Zetsumyoken as well. As he picked up his items and placed the strap of the sheath across his body, Kenu got out of bed and thanked the young nurse for her assistance. He then proceeded to wait for a reply from her before he would leave, but heard none. Kenu turned around to face the nurse, and as he did so noticed that she was no longer there. Scanning the entire room, the Saiya-jin realized that the nurse must have disappeared after his thanks. Guess I should be leaving now. After all, I do have to meet up with Hakuto and find Thornet… With that thought, Kenu exited the infirmary.
