Character Statistics
Name: Xarius
Other Aliases: Blacksoul, Lord of Roosland, Traitor of Xennar, God of War
Age: Physically 25, but exact age impossible to verify after being absorbed/merged with the Dust Wraith. Commonly believed to be in the excess of several thousand years at the most.
Species: Formerly Dark Saiyan (Xennarian), Currently a Dust Wraith host
Dark Saiyans are former Saiyans cursed and banished from their former Saiyan colony of Tekkar, they were banished to the dark and hostile planet of Xennar. Xennar a highly dangerous and polluted planet was supposed to bring the outcasts to their demise, not only is the planet polluted, but it is also volcanic active. Forgotten by the community on Tekkar, the Xennar outcasts somehow survived on Xennar and created their own settlement. However the fierce environment on Xennar and the pollution had made it's toll on the outcast saiyans, they looked slightly different from their normal cousins. Glowing red eyes, red stripes in their hair and they are more violent. The Dark Saiyans are very fire resistant and they give away alot more bodyheat than normal. When enraged they can ignite things on fire. Dark Saiyans also use a different type of ki called Dark Matter, dark matter are somewhat more denser and it takes awhile to master it. On their native tongue, a dark saiyan is called Xennarian.
Dust Wraiths are extremely rare beings that is said to hail from the realm of Apoca, a far distant and secluded dimension. Even among the dominant lifeform in Apoca, the “wraiths” are just a myth. Tales spun through distant times. A being said to be nothing more than a cloud of black dust, given form and life. Said to kill and devour anything in it’s path, to sate it’s hunger. However this was a only a tale the natives of Apoca told their children to scare them. In truth a Dust Wraith was much more than the myth told them to be. They were neither as primitive or primal as the tales told them to be. In fact the “wraiths” were the first intelligent lifeforms that appeared on Apoca, a race only known as the T’ali. Who prospered for a millennia and then vanished beyond written records. The “wraiths” or ghosts are what remained of the once successful T’ali people. Beings who were not affected by the decay of time, but in turn doomed to roam across dimensions for all eternity. Over time the strongest of these dust wraiths started to merge or consume other lifeforms they encountered through their roaming. Regaining the ability to interact with their surroundings outside their native realm, but in turn also forgoing their previous immortal state. Once a dust wraith merged for the first time, some of their immortality and powers would diminish. A wraith is then dependent on a host to exist, failure to acquire a host within a short time results in the decay of time catching up causing the wraith to simply vanish.
Face Claim: Modified SSJ Brolly
Height: 5'9
Weight: 190 lbs
Eyes: Grey, Pitch black while using wraith dust.
Hair: Dark black spiked hair with red stripes in it.
Aura Color: Xarius’s aura manifests as a thin layer of black dust pulsing around him while drawing power from wraith dust otherwise its firelike red when drawing power from dark matter alone. And a combination of both while drawing power form both sources.
Description: Xarius’s clothing consists of a worn black vest, loose black cargo pants and black army boots. Two large scars runs across his chest forming an X and a thin black chain is wrapped tightly around most of his right forearm. Despite Xarius could easily afford a huge wardrobe of different clothing styles due to his status within Roosland, he prefers to wear a set of worn down clothes. Maybe as a reminder of his recent revival. Xarius's physique is quite muscular for his size, but not he's not overly bulked up. His hair being black with red stripes running through it, a distinctive feature of his race. Kept in a messy spiked up hairstyle, a look he has kept since youth. But perhaps the most distinctive feature are his glowing red eyes, almost looking like a fire.
Personality: From his early days on his homeplanet Xennar, Xarius had known nothing but betrayal and anger. As a soldier he had believed in a system that had stabbed him in the back and taken away those few he held dear in that harsh and hostile environment. From early on Xarius made fury and rage his fuel, making him an effective if yet somehow emotionally blunted person. These traits carried over when he arrived on Eden for the first time, but slowly washed away as he settled down and found both friends and peace with himself.
Xarius’s personality changed somewhat after being merged with Dust Wraith. His old personality merged with that of the wraith giving birth to a new persona, Blacksoul-Xarius. While the old Xarius would be rather impatient, quick to anger and uneasy to trust others. Blacksoul had none of these flaws. Instead the new Xarius possessed a rather calm nature, patient as well as a open minded and a relaxed behavior around others. In stark contrast to Xarius.
A behavior that was quite common for a Wraith. For centuries, the wraiths had been nothing but silent observers, shielded from time's decay and untouchable by other beings. Through time they had witnessed great civilizations that both risen and fallen, great wars that had been fought. Entire worlds that fallen under. Hostility met with hostility. Despite being a very powerful being in recent times, the wraiths did not believe that violence or hostility could solve anything at all. A flaw that was very common among saiyans and their relatives, a flaw that Blacksoul corrected the minute he became Xarius. Yet Blacksoul did not want to override Xarius's own personality, rather to merge his own personality with Xarius in the form of a symbiotic relationship of sorts. As such, Blacksoul would allow Xarius his own free will and independence as long as it did not conflict with his own. However at times Blacksoul would emerge and take control, then speaking with a much deeper voice.
Moral Alignment: Good
Weapons and Equipment: Xarius is known to carry the Roos-storage device, a device that allows storage of multiple items. The Roos-storage device itself is rather small and resembles a small cellphone. Within this storage device, several items can be found. A Roos-medkit premium version, containing everything you need to provide basic to advanced first aid. Rooscard Platina, a creditcard with no limit that works across all of Eden, except for Juin and Generica. And the royal badge of his great majesty King Roos of Roosland. A great supply of food and beverages is also found within as well as a Roos-computer. A computer directly linked to the Roosland main "Big Sister" computer network, allowing Xarius to stay in direct contact with Roosland HQ.
Special Skills: Being a former soldier of Xennar, Xarius is highly trained within the use of their respective martial art. Having also received training from Rayze, a master with Tekkarian martial arts firmly plants Xarius as a master martial artist. Being trained to both utilize raw brute power and blinding speed, he has combined both forms and molded them into a new evolved form. Aside from being a master martial artist, Xarius also held a high degree of skill within engineering, finance and politics at some time. As he proved by largely planning and setting up a settlement on what was to become Roosland. Xarius has also displayed high skill with use of a makeshift lance, a trait he probably picked up after merging with Blacksoul.
Character Background
Relationship Status: Single
Family: Darius(father, deceased), Aribeth(mother, deceased)
Place Of Birth: Xennar and Shadow World (time of merging)
History: Xarius was born on the inhospitable planet of Xennar, belonging to a low ranking family. His father was a common soldier of their city. The City of Firaga, the first and only Dark Saiyan city. His mother died when he was very young due to an illness or so his father told him. Being born in a low ranking family meant that he was supposed to be a common soldier of their army. Being raised at the academy for soldiers he showed himself as a promising recruit and joined the ranks as a soldier at the age of 16 which is pretty unusual as their minium age limit is 18. Further more he showed great potential as a soldier when he singlehanded defeated 3 saiyan spies from Tekkar. For this act he was promoted to corporal, but he had recently suffered from nightmares about his mother. When he asked his father about his mother's death, all he got was a lecture about not carving up the past. At the age of 18 he led a group of soldiers to fend off a possible invasion from Tekkar, it looked like the Tekkar saiyans wanted this planet for themselves. Even after they banished their former kind here. The invasion went bad for the Tekkar saiyans, but likewise for the Dark Saiyans. A third of their army were wiped out, Xarius lost almost his entire group of soldiers. Including one of his best friends, this event would hunt Xarius for a long time. Things got even worse when he was accused of bad leadership by one of the senior commanders. For this he were demoted to a mere soldier again.
By this time his father died in an ambush, or so he were told. Filled by hate, Xarius joined up for the most dangerous missions they could assign to him. However during a misson he found out that he was chasing Dark Saiyans and not Tekkar saiyans, they had fled the planet for over 6 months ago. He asked his senior officer about it, but he told Xarius to not bother. Xarius hacked himself into the the information databank and found out most disturbing information. A file describing executions of rebels, on the 6th page he found the name of his mother and on the 67th page he found the name of his father. This filled Xarius with anger beyond the thinkable, he went to the barracks of his commander and killed him in cold blood. Blasted the whole encampment with a massive ki blast and flew off to the dangerous wasteland of Xennar. It was there after a couple of months he met up with a saiyan left behind by the failed Tekkar Invasion, their first meeting ended in violence with a battle lasting for days. It was in the end brought to a halt when the saiyan ascended into a super saiyan and knocked Xarius out. The saiyan called himself Rayze and were a former soldier of Tekkar. Xarius bonded a friendship with Rayze as Rayze learned Xarius a purer form of Saiyan Martial Arts, he also tried to learn Xarius the secrets of ascending into a Super Saiyan. But the training seemed somehow ineffective on a Dark Saiyan, they seemed to have lost their ability to ascend. What neither of them knew was that a group of assassins had followed their footsteps for the last days. During nightime they poisoned Rayze with a potent venom, they were both caught off guard. Before Rayze passed on to the otherworld, he told Xarius that he had hidden a damaged spaceshuttle in the nearby canyon. All it needed was some repair parts. With the death of his friend something triggered inside him, flashing pictures of his mother, his father, his friends dying in the war and his dear friend Rayze came up in his mind. With this he transformed, his hair turned even more spiked and changed color to dark green. His muscle became even bigger and his eyes turned green. The Dark Saiyans version of a super saiyan. With this sudden and greatly powerboost he chased down the assassins in no time and killed them with a single ki blast. He then heeded Rayze's last words and blasted his way through Firaga to find the missing parts he needed for the shuttle. Not taking a last look on Firaga, Xarius flew back to the wrecked shuttle and fixed it. Not knowing how to fly, he activated the auto pilot and flew off Xennar, but his shuttle were shot by the Tekkar blockade and went uncontrolled with one engine disabled into deep space. Thinking he was dead, he woke up on a unfamiliar world. Better known as Eden.
Several years passed on Eden, friends were made. As well as enemies. Roosland, lordship of Roosland. Many events unfolded during the few years Xarius had landed and adjusted to the life on Eden.
A new chapter would be written however in Xarius’s story on the fateful day he ventured too far into the Shadow World. Always looking for a good fight. By chance he stumbled upon what he thought to be just a mere shadow beast, a local creature that was native to the shadow world. A creature that always had provided a good battle in the past. Though something was a bit off, usually shadow beasts were extremely hostile. But it didn’t show any signs of aggression, nor did it attempt to provoke one. Thinking of it as nothing more, but a fluke. Xarius drew first blood. Firing a ki blast at the beast, with the intent to draw out it’s aggression. This succeeded and the beast roared with all it’s might and lunged at Xarius with lightning speed. This caught him off guard and he tumbled backwards, such speed he had not seen before in a such a primitive beast. A grin formed on his face, a worthy challenge. This time Xarius lunged towards the beast and lashed out a powerful strike towards the head region of the beast, putting enough power behind it to split a mountain in half. However the beast mere swayed out of it’s path and counter-attacked with a powerful slash with it’s claw. Blood flowed across Xarius’s chest as he stared in disbelief. A powerful tailwhip then sent him crashing into a large obsidian boulder. Moments later the xennarian rose from the rubble, the pain from the wound was nothing compared to the humiliation he felt. Losing a trade of blows to a mere primal beast. By then the beast had turned around and was attempting to move away from the area, only to catch a Blaze Ball in the back. This in turn provoked the beast who turned around, unharmed by the attack. A faint hiss was the only response, before a black cloud of dust shot out from it’s maw. The dust cloud came straight for Xarius with high speed. And before he could react, blood spilled from multiple cuts on his body. It was then he realised this was no mere shadow beast he was facing. His body was in pain, pain he hadn’t felt since he fought with Zedge. Whatever that attack was, it wasn’t going to hit him twice. Waves of energy bursted out of Xarius as he ascended, intent on taking down the beast with one blow.
Leaving multiple images behind Xarius teleported to the blindside of the beast, sending out a powerful roundhouse kick to the head. The kick connected and sent the creature flying backwards. A grin appeared on Xarius’s face, that quickly turned into a twisted face of agony. Blood spilled on the ground, the beast had somehow managed to appear behind Xarius and one of it’s claws was now firmly planted into Xarius’s flesh. A split second later Xarius was staring towards the sky, knocked right off his footing. The creature had again turned it’s back towards Xarius, clearly showing no interest in finishing him off. Which only stirred Xarius even more, with a quick flip Xarius was on his feet again. With the Vulcan Wave already primed in his palms. A barrage of destructive energy tore up the immediate area around the powerful beast, followed by dust and smoke. For a moment nothing could be heard aside from Xarius’s panting. Only to be broken by a shattering cry emitting from the blast zone. The Vulcan Wave surely had some effect this time, because the creature staggered forward showing some degree of pain. It’s right claw seemed to disintegrate into dust and a part of it’s skull were missing. “What the hell are you?” was the only thing Xarius said before the beast infront of him turned to dust. “What....?!” Xarius muttered as he fell to his knees, a second gash across his chest opened and blood flowed freely. All of his strength flowed out of his body, two pitch black eyes staring down on him. It was over. The powerful xennarian warrior defeated by some unknown beast in a desolate place.
“I can’t go down like this!” But there was no response from his body, it had gone limp. The last slash had really left it’s mark. Cutting deep into flesh and vital organs. But there was no true victors, for Xarius noticed the beast had succumbed to it’s wounds as well as it had fallen motionless next to him. Darkness approached and he wasn’t looking forward to it. His eyes felt heavy, yet something kept them open. “Who...or....what...are you...??” Xarius muttered. A ghostlike figure stood over him, it pointed towards the limp body of the shadow beast. Black dust danced around the ghost, the same kind of dust that had erupted from the beast’s mouth earlier. “......Why.....destroy.....vessel......?” words spoke within Xarius’s head. It didn’t make any sense at the time. “I....did....not....want...kill...you.....” “....left....me...no...choice.” The ghostly figure pointed towards the dead shadow beast, made a gesture with it’s arm and then pointed at Xarius. “You.....will...die.....now....die...or ....become...vessel......” That was the last Xarius heard before his eyes went shut, his last breath exhaled.
~ This is bascially a re-edit of my old FH profile that I had with a little twist to fill in plot holes and gaps
