Responsibility issues

"OK, so maybe I got a little side-tracked but I'm pretty sure that if I look around a little, I'm bound to find Musashi somewhere around here" Carniku said aloud to his partner in this conversation, not waiting for a reply, he continued
"I mean, I did have to go and see how Roosland was doing. It's my home for God's sake! For all I know my little make-shift family, not to mention my real family through the Rooswarp, could be in grave danger! Not to mention, Musashi's responsible for those people getting killed on Bryce's Island, what kind of debt do I owe him that I need to go traipsing across the world, not to mention dodging some overly eager Registration Fans to avoid killing someone myself... But when it was my birthday he did turn up to help out... I guess he's always done what he can to help out... man, I feel kinda bad now..." Carniku went silent, as if anticipating some kind of response from his partner in this conversation. After a long pause, Carniku finally sighed and looked back at the guy he was talking to
"You know, it wouldn't kill you to listen and answer to me!?"
"Ruff!"
"Huh, I never thought of it that way..." Carniku said, as he idly started stroking the puppy sitting besides him on the bench. He'd rescued him from a burning building a few towns back but the owners had called the Registration Forces as soon as he escaped out of a tenth story window and landed on his feet. As such, he's decided they didn't deserve their puppy so it was his new travelling companion. Conveniently, since he was eighteen, he now had a credit card linked to the Roosland treasury and could, legally, spend money! A novel concept for him, but also helpful. With a loud sigh, Carniku got up and scooped up the puppy in his arms, deciding to continue walking for now. A few blocks through the town and he gave the puppy to a morose looking girl with dyed black hair and purple eye-shadow, he may have been wrong, but it looked like love at first sight.
His searching for Musashi was starting to look pretty poor, in all honesty. Where the hell was he!? Had those shadow creatures dragged him off to the Otherworld somehow? Was he going to have to go trekking through the after-life? That wouldn't be fun... there were at least 20 very strong people in the "I hate Carniku" club down there, and he didn't think he'd love fighting Jojizu, Zedge, Zedge II, Scar, Jiron... Hell, probably a few people he's only slighty fought too like that guy who Barnibus had a deal with. That was a thought! If he went to the Otherworld he could see Barnibus, and Mihon! And Celia! Wow... it was a genuinely odd feeling to have a pleasant suicidal urge. He kept himself grounded and searched through the messenger bag he'd bought, along with his new duds. Although Zammy had sent him his bokken via Royal Mohawk express, he couldn't get any clothes out. He'd said that Roos could use his support and Carniku felt bad about abandoning him like this... but he would be abandoning Musashi if he did go home. He was dressed like normal teenager as far as he could see. Open chested green shirt and dark blue jeans, his hair looked slightly more blond than brown nowadays but that was probably from all of his involuntary swimming in the ocean. He jumped down from the roof-top he was wandering around and leafed through his bag filled with "Lost" signs. He pasted it onto a telephone pole directly over the Wanted Signs the Registration guys had up. He blinked a few times and looked around, just in case Musashi was here. No luck...
((OOC: Everyone else! I'm starting a 'searching for' thread since I don't think there is one))
