The purple portal appeared in the middle of the room, followed up by Xarius exiting the portal. The training console bursted into life. "Welcome Xarius." Xarius walked towards the console and pushed a number of buttons. "Two fighters, medium gravity and full energy field!" Instantly the room became much heavier and the walls began to glow with a purple color. Xarius pushed another button and another panel opened revealing yet another fridge. "This should keep us going for awhile...." Xarius said towards Carniku, he hadn't sparred with Carniku for quite sometime.

Carniku grinned broadly and cracked his knuckles
"I reckon so, this has taken a while to wind round. Let's get started huh?" Carniku crouched and his muscles tensed, his aura flickered around him then began burning brightly with a yellow fire that surrounded him and energised him a little bit. His aura accelerated and finally with a spark his hair turned into a golden mass of spikes and his eyes became green disks. His grin grew broader as he looked around.
"I haven't transformed into Super Saiyan for a while. Ready? Your first move Xarius bro" His smile was twitching a lot, this wasn't what a lot of people would call fun but he couldn't think of a better way to spend an afternoon then shredding around a room with his friend firing lethal blasts of flaming Ki at each other.

"Just remember that we're fighting under altered gravity bro..." Xarius said as he smiled, this was going to be fun. He stared at the super saiyan infront of him, as strong as ever. This time it was his turn to make the first move. "Computer!!! Seal the door." For safety measures the doors were sealed during training sessions in case one would be unlucky to enter during a heated battle. "Ready to play Carniku!" Xarius said before his red fire aura burst into life, "This time it's gonna be extra intresting as I'm not going super..." With these words Xarius's aura exploded into a silver color, his hair spiked up a little but apart from that he looked normal. Electricity danced around his body. The ascended Xennarian were ready to play.

With one swift motion Xarius dropped down into his usual fighting stance, his glowing red eyes were fixed on Carniku. A smile appeared on his face before Xarius vanished in flash, reappearing on the right side of Carniku with a roundhouse kick. Followed up by a series of three quick jabs to his chin, Xarius wanted to see if Carniku had gotten any slower.

When Xarius appeared Carniku had a split second to react and although he couldn't raise an arm in time he used his shoulder as a shield to take the blow with little damage. He snapped his head from side to side to avoid the jabs and once the last one had passed he pivotted and threw an elbow at Xarius chin. He jumped straight up and kicked off the ceiling diving at Xarius in an attempt to tackle him down to the ground.

Carniku managed to dodge all his attacks, except the inital kick who had little to none effect on him at all. "He's a bit faster alright..." Xarius thought to himself as he moved his head away from the incoming elbow, narrowly dodging it. Carniku then jumped straight up before coming down with a vicious tackle, though all he would hit were a image of Xarius as he had in a split second before impact teleported away leaving a image behind. Xarius's silver aura pulsated calmly around Xarius as he smiled and vanished yet again. Reappearing this time infront of Carniku. A roundhouse kick aimed for his head were thrown at him, followed up by two quick jabs to his head with his left hand and a straight right for his jaw.

Carniku swished emptily through Xarius' illusion and crunched heavily into the floor smacking his jaw. He looked up blearliy and saw Xarius' leg coming round for a kick, he leant back and it missed by centimetres. The two jabs hit and missed respectively but Carniku was regaining his balance by the third punch. He swung out of the way so the fist glided past where his head had been and swiped his leg to hit Xarius' in the back of the knees before pivotting and throwing his palms together in an attack with enough force to slam someone to the ground (if the leg sweep misses then backwards) before backflipping out of the way and breathing a little heavily.

Carniku had fallen for his illusionary image trick, but managed to avoid his kick and some of his punches. A counter attack hit Xarius behind his right knee and knocked him off balance leaving him open for Carniku's slam attack. Xarius bounced hard off the ground a couple of yards before he flipped onto his feets. "Now we're talking...." Xarius said cheerfully before he leapt towards Carniku again, a couple of yards infront of Carniku Xarius suddenly split into 3 persons. They all stopped mere meters away from Carniku before flying upwards and then coming down with a vicious tackle from 3 different angles. Of course Carniku had seen this technique being used by Xarius so many times before, but nonetheless it would create some confusion.

Carniku watched all three Xarius' shoot upwards then come diving down from 3 different angles. Panicking a little he tried to think of a way to avoid getting slammed into the ground. Finally when he was seconds from being smacked He crouched up both legs and jumped up high so all three would miss. But, unless they disapated he would still be left with three Xarius' going around trying to hit him and he would start winning if Carniku didn't know which one to attack. He focused some energy into his hands creating two swirling balls of yellow energy that gradually condensed into spheres before he fired them at two of the Xarius, then instantly launched another two hitting the one he missed and one he had already hit, followed by evening it up with two more so each Xarius had been shot at twice. Seeing nothing else to do Carniku held his arms ready in a defensive position
"Y'know Xarius, I reckon this alone might've won it for ya so I have to find a way to beat it... Any suggestions?" this was a little last ditch but you never know, he might be generous.

Xarius and his image clones missed Carniku as he jumped up in the air, avoiding a painful tackle. "Smart move..." Xarius said just before ki balls started came towards him and his image clones, the two clones where revealed as ki balls flew straight through them right after they disapated into thin air. However the two ki balls coming for him where met with two red ki balls of his own as they exploded on impact. Xarius flipped backwards and landed on the ground in a offensive stance. "Well Carniku, you know that my images are just fake ones...they can not actually hurt you...I guess you're bright enough to figure out the rest." Xarius smiled before he leapt at Carniku yet again, only this time a purple portal appeared between him and Carniku. A couple of yards infront of Carniku he vanished into it. Seconds later two other purple portals appeared on each side of Carniku followed up by 6 red ki balls, 3 from each portal coming straight for him. A bigger portal appeared above Carniku where Xarius leapt out with a elbow smash from below, intended on smashing Carniku to the ground.

Carniku jumped forward to meet Xarius until he disappeared through his portal and Carniku was forced to screech to a halt, he looked for any sign of Xarius until he saw faint purple at either side. He quietly said
"uh-oh" as 6 ki balls came at him, he dodged and weaved his way between them in what he called ' matrix styley' avoiding all 6 only to get smacked by the elbow and he hit the ground fairly hard. After removing his face from the Carniku shaped dent he stood shakily up and blinked a few times as he faced Xarius.
"OK... so that was a nice move..." Carniku crouched again and cupped his hands to his side before throwing them up with a shout of
[glow=purple,7,300]Skull Beam!![/glow] the purple blast of lightning rocketted forward towards Xarius and Carniku had to steady his feet as the beam spun in his hands to add extra foce behind it.

Carniku had displayed impressive agility and speed has he had dodged all of Xarius's ki balls. But his elbow smash had smacked the saiyan down on the ground, "Thanks...." Was the only thing Xarius could think of before Carniku's Skull Beam came at him. Xarius grinned right before he threw his right palm forwards. A fire colored Blaze Ball shot out from his palm and collided with Carniku's signature attack (well one of them )and exploded in a big blast. The shockwave blew Xarius backwards into the force field reinforced wall of the chamber. Making it even more painful to collide with. Xarius bounced hard off the wall and smacked his face down on the ground. Xarius slowly raised himself off the floor, a little dazed. "Not bad...not bad at all." Xarius dropped down into his usual fighting stance, but now Xarius closed his eyes for a brief second. A strange purple glow seemed to radiate from beneath his silver aura. Dark matter flowed like a river through him as everything became crystal clear(dark matter enlightment). Xarius blinked with his right eye towards Carniku, before he vanished. Reappearing right infront of Carniku with a flurry of punches aimed towards his head, chest and stomach. Followed up by a low roundhouse kick towards the backside of his legs in order to knock him off balance.

Carniku watched as Xarius' aura changed and tensed up ready to defend. He suddenly vanished and Carniku felt one punch collide hard. He brought his arms in and the blows impacted off of his arms rapidly forcing him back a little. He was taking some damaging hits on his arms when he felt his leg's come out from the kick, he growled and swung his weight around in mid-air to try and smack both feet at Xarius' head. He jumped back and landed neatly before powering up a little and his aura energised a little more. He didn't ascend to Super Saiyan 2 but his aura was stronger and his muscles bulged a little more. He sprang forward and aimed a punch at Xarius' head but at the last second swung it back and brought a leg up so he did back-flip with a kick aimed at Xarius' chin. Righting himself again he threw a series of punches and kicks at Xarius' chest and head before spinning away to land panting on the ground.

With the aid of his dark matter enlightment, Xarius managed to inflict more damage upon Carniku. Dark matter completely surrounded him as the purple glow shined brightly, counter attack from Carniku aimed at his head were easily avoided as Xarius saw it coming. "Not fast enough...." Xarius remarked, slightly cocky. But he remained serious as he knew Carniku was only warming up. A point proven as Carniku powered up a little, to even out the odds. Carniku then leapt at him with a punch, which quickly turned out to be a feint as Xarius got knocked backwards by a back-flip kick. Righting himself up, Carniku were already over him with a flurry of punches and kicks aimed for his head and chest. In a blur of motion, Xarius moved in and out with immense speed, impossible to acheive without the aid of his dark matter enlightment. A trail of Xarius's after images were left behind as Xarius avoided the whole flurry of attacks. Though it also took a heavy toll upon himself, as the dark matter enlightment at this stage burned energy alot faster than normal.

Xarius flipped backwards and dropped to his knees, panting and with sweat beads dripping on the floor. Soon after the purple glow vanished, he simply couldn't use it over a longer period. "Guess I need a little better stamina..." Xarius laughed between the gasps of air. "But I guess warm up is over eh?" Xarius said before his silver aura exploded outwards, electricity which surrounded Xarius grew even more violently as Xarius's powerlevel increased dramatically. He now used the full potenial of his Ascended Xennarian ascension.

He had only been fighting at a level slightly above super saiyan, to test Carniku's strenghts and weaknesses. So far he had found more strenghts than weaknesses, as expected. Xarius and Carniku had knew each other for a long time. So they fairly well knew each other's capabilites. Except from Xarius's new bag of tricks. "Guess it's time to go super saiyan 2 eh Carniku?" Xarius said and smiled, waiting for his friend to kick it up a notch.

Carniku looked at him in awe
"Yeah... I guess I could go a little higher..." He crossed his arms over his chest and his aura circled him once more. glowing with power until he threw his arms down and with a flash his hair stood sharper and a single lock fell down over one eye. His aura crackled with lightning as he took score of Xarius' current transformation.
"Alright, bro. It looks like were even again. Please tell me you haven't got any more transformations! No matter, I have a cunning plan." Carniku's main advantage of Super Saiyan 2 was the increased speed which he used well now. He shot forward like a dart and pivotted round to try and plant both feet in Xarius' stomach before spinning upwards and from a greater vantage point firing down a rain of ki blasts before dashing away to a far wall, he rested on it for a while plotting a way to keep ahead and avoid using his energy in a full-on fight which he was fairly certain he'd lose, even in their neutral states Xarius was physically stronger than him.

Xarius nodded as Carniku had taken the challenge. The golden warrior stood infront of him, transformed to a super saiyan 2. They were completely even in terms of powerlevel and Xarius couldn't do anything but smile when he heard Carniku's remark. "Well I got one transformation left bro, but it takes ages to reach it." Xarius said before he got both of Carniku's feets planted in his stomach. Xarius flexed his abs as he were pushed a little backwards from the force of the attack. Carniku were already above him sending a rain of ki blasts down at him. "Now we're talkin!!!" Xarius said before he jumped upwards, through the rain of energy or so it seemed. In reality only a image of him had jumped upwards. The real Xarius had teleported next to Carniku where he fired a red ki ball. But just a couple of meters infront of Carniku, the ki ball vanished into a portal. Seconds later another portal appeared above Carniku where the ki ball exited and headed straight for Carniku again.

Xarius hoped this would cause enough confusion as he teleported towards Carniku in a zig zag motion, before yet again splitting up into 4. Two of the "clones" flew straight at Carniku in bull charge style, while the other two fired ki beams towards him. It would be up to Carniku to figure it all out...

The first ki ball hit him and he staggered slightly in surprise. He hadn't been paying attention and the thing had completely slipped under his radar. He looked around for Xarius and saw 4 of him. He groaned at the prospect and as 2 flew at him and another 2 fired Ki blasts he had a stroke of genius. He swept his hands down and vaulted over the two charging Xariuses and somersaulted down to the ground where he fired a Zer0blivion at the two on the ground. If his plan worked the second pair of clones would hit the first with their ki blasts and his Zer0blivion would hit them. He would still be at a disadvantage but he'd avoided one bad situation. He focused his mind for what would come next, his distraction was costly last time, it wouldn't be this time.

Carniku flipped over the first pair of clones, one of them being the real Xarius. Returned down on the ground and fired ZerOblivion beams on the second pair, which all were fake clones. They vanished into thin air even before the ZerOblivion beams reached their target as did their fake beams. The clone standing next to Xarius also disappeared. "Nice plan, but if you didn't knew already, my clones aint made of flesh nor bone. They're just an illusion." Xarius said before he dropped down on the ground too, some distance infront of Carniku. Xarius then resumed his fighting stance before he leapt at Carniku, sending out a set of double punches aimed for his jaw, a single jab to his chin, and a roundhouse kick aimed at Carniku's chest before he flipped backwards into a portal.

Reappearing above him through another portal, for a moment he hovered in the air before he cupped his hands. Carniku already knew what was coming. The fire colored Blaze Ball grew in size, dark matter sparking from it. "Blaze...Ball....Ha!" The Blaze Ball rocketted at Carniku.

Carniku grinned at Xarius before weaving away from the first two punches, the third hit him and he winced but the kick he rolled away from and landed on his hands. He sprang up only to find Xarius had moved away while he was down. He saw him again with cupped hands and an energy attack forming
"Ah. I know what this one is..." As the Blaze Ball shot towards him Carniku leapt up doing the splits and the attack missed him completely. He landed on the balls of his feet and quickly jumped up again to aim a side thrust kick at Xarius before jumping down and in an effort to avoid another attack like that started bouncing off the walls like a pinball to avoid staying still too long.

Xarius watched as the Blaze Ball missed, collided into the floor and were instantly absorbed. Adding more energy to Roosland's energy storage. He saw Carniku coming at him with a thrust kick, which he blocked partially. The force of the kick still knocked him backwards and into the wall, where he then got bounced off rather brutally. Xarius grabbed an apple from a secret compartment within his Gi, brushed it alittle before he took a huge chunk out of it. He than threw the remains of the apple into a portal which suddenly appeared. "Have to keep this place tidy and clean eh." Xarius said before he teleported after Carniku as he saw him bouncing off the walls. "So you wanna play pinball?" Xarius remarked before a portal appeared infront of him, seconds later Xarius began blasting ki balls into the portal. 5 other portals appeared throughout the room. From which ki balls started to fly out of. All trying to nail Carniku.

Carniku frowned and said
"Hey! I wanna Apple!" but he clearly had more pressing matters. As the blasts came at him he shot off walls allowing nearly all the blasts to impact into the field and give yet more energy into people's homes. Odds are they had a small power surge that day but Carniku never found out. He flipped over one blast and saw the portal it came from. He focused energy and fired a Zer0blivion through it. If it worked the beam would go through THIS portal and come out XARIUS' portal. The idea was sound, but the practice may have something to show. He kept dodging the blasts but he was having to focus entirely on this, he already had three burns from the blast on his left arm and two on his legs. He hadn't been hit hard yet but he wasn't in a fit state.

Xarius watched as Carniku managed to dodge nearly every ki blast thron at him, even through the portal. He also saw Carniku firing his own ZerOblivion into the portal, in response the portal infront of Xarius suddenly vanished and a new portal appeared behind Carniku again from which his own blast came at him. The plan seemed to backfire at Carniku, although the idea seemed fine. The fact remained, Xarius was in total control of the portals as he had spent countless hours trying to figure them out in the first place.

Still Xarius panted a little, as creating portals and blasting energy through it took it's share of energy. "We haven't fought like this in a long time eh bud..." Xarius said and smiled, before he vanished, reappearing straight infront of Carniku with a elbow smash to his chest followed up by a knee to his gut. Xarius's fighting style were a mix of tricking the enemy, and brute force.

Carniku saw a closing portals and in a kind of paranoia ducked, his own signature move scorched through his hair and he jumped up looking singed.
"No... I think these bruises'll remind me to think before agreeing to spars, HEY!" The elbow smacked him square in the chest and Carniku gasped as he rubbed his ribs, he swung with the knee so it hit nothing but air but since they were close... he tried to head-butt Xarius straight in the fore-head followed up by two punches aimed at both sides of his head. He flipped backwards and landed on a wall again. He started pin-balling again and threw several kicks at Xarius as he passed by him.

Xarius hit rather good with his elbow, but Carniku had with great skill avoided his knee. Something he got a real close up look as Carniku's head smashed into Xarius's forehead. Xarius shook his head from side to side, trying to shake off the dazing feeling he had inside his skull. Two punches hit Xarius real good as he stepped backwards from each punch before he eventually recovered, raising his guard again. Carniku had however now begun his pin-ball play, bouncing off the walls. Several kicks were thrown out towards Xarius, some of them he blocked while others hit. "You must be real good at pin-ball eh?" Xarius laughed out as he rubbed his forehead.

Xarius then jumped high up in the air, before performing a show-off spin in the air. Moments later he split into 4 identical "clones" (remember that they're not real in anyway...). Letting out a small grin, they all flew into the wall before pin-balling like Carniku had done before all over the room while throwing out kicks towards Carniku. If one pin-ball were confusing enough, how would 4 be then?

Carniku grinned
"I'm a pinball wizard! Oh no... what are you doing?" Xarius had split into clones again and had started pinballing wildly "No far stealing my thing!". He grimaced as he clung to one of the bottom corners to avoid some of them, he'd conceived the Pinball thing part from one of Jakole's old moves and part to try and counter the clones and raw physical power of Xarius. As a foundationalist fighter he didn't have any neat tricks to win which he made a mental note to work on later. He just kept on getting hit since he couldn't tell whcih was real and the air was a sea of Xarius. He had to hide in a corner where he rarely came near to recover as he planned a way to counter. Finally he worked one out, from his vantage point he fired two beams straight out in the path of any richocheting pin-balls, he had a large bruise developping on his cheek but he was ignoring that for now.

Xarius's own version of the pin-ball technique seemed to work as Carniku were hit several times and was forced to take shelter in a corner. "Beaten by his own..." Was the only thing Xarius said before one of Carniku's two beams hit him straight on and smashed him into the far end of the room. He bounced hard of the energy field protected wall and landed on his stomach on the floor. It took a few seconds before Xarius slow stood up, the Gi jacket had been slightly burned. "I smell like fried chicken..." Xarius remarked, before he assumed his fighting stance. Xarius placed both his hands infront of him as a build up of dark matter gathered infront of his hands. The red dark matter ball grew in size, bolts of energy shooting out from it. "Vulcan....Wave.....Fire!!!!" Xarius cried out as 100 dark matter balls flew towards Carniku, spreading out in a wide angle. Atleast one dark matter ball were proned to hit, especially if Carniku planned on pin-balling his way out. Xarius were already ready with another volley....
