(I made this a new subject cos Castle Comealot is on a different topic )
King Roos was bored. Sitting on his throne in his huge castle, castle Comealot, resting his chin on one hand clenched in a fist, his elbow resting on one of the throne's arms. He was drumming the fingers of his left hand on his left knee, which was tucked up under him, his cloak lying on the floor in front of him and his crown askew on his head. He sighed mournfully and rolled his eyes once more, examining every inch of the room. He pushed himself up from his throne, stretching his arms and yawning. His arms unfortunately stretched too far and his fists smashed through the ceiling.
"Roos needs to ex-ah-siz" he muttered to himself, looking at the damage he'd done. In the blink of an eye he'd disappeared.
He appeared again in one of the fishermen's villages. They were used to their king and his strange habits and greeted him familiarly as they passed by, harvesting crops, water and other goods. Roos smiled and greeted them back, before finding an abandoned field and began practicing. He was a red blur, flying from spot to spot in the blink of an eye, doing ultra-fast moves that an eye could not see. After some time, Roos decided he had worked up enough of a sweat and sat down for a while. A man and his child approached him, and the boy asked,
"Mr. Roos?" Roos looked at him and smiled.
"Yah?" he replied.
"How'd you do that?" Roos frowned and looked up at the boy's father. A small crowd of fishermen were beggining to form, and the boy's father said,
"Well you see, Mr. Roos... Your Majesty, we've been wondering... if you could teach us how to do that? Then we'll be able to help defend our country, y'know?" Roos frowned more deeply, looked from the boy to his father, then said,
"Sure!" And so, the Roosland military began to form. It took many, many months, but Roos managed to teach all the fishermen the martial arts. He also taught them how to fly, and the basics of Ki. In fact, to Roos' surprise, they all excelled at this. Roos was really impressed at the collective power of the fishermen, but they were still a long way off being called a military. After all, they could be beaten by almost anyone Roos knew. Roos was pondering this when one of the best fighters approached him.
"King Roos, i have an idea." Roos raised an eye-brow and replied,
"Go on den Zammy!" The young man, Zammy, was obviously surprised that Roos knew his name.
"Your Highness... you know my name?!" Zammy asked in dis-belief.
"Yep! Learnt 'em all, so's i could know's 'oo all better," Roos explained before walking over to Zammy and crossing his arms.
"What was da idea den?" Zammy smiled and stepped to the right, showing Roos a large crate. Zammy wrenched off the lid and pulled out something from inside. He un-furled it to show a full-body suit of a strange material.
"It's a special, super-endurable armour! For the military, you know?" Roos nodded looking at it in surprise,
"It's got a special generator and jet-pack on the back, for flight and extra energy, for flight and to make us all stronger. Also, it has a small force-field generator and comes with it's own rifle! Cool huh?" Roos grinned and looked up at Zammy, eyes wide.
"Where'd ya get it? How'd ya buy it?"
"The city, and with your royal savings," Roos looked at him in confusion, "Don't worry about it Your Highness." Roos nodded in agreement, taking the suit of armour off of Zammy and examining it more closely.
"Of course, we're still not sure about this. We need to test the suits and what-not, plus we only have five. But we should be able to use the labs here in the Castle to replicate..." Roos shrugged and poked Zammy in the chest, saying,
"Get ta work!" He smirked mischeivously, passed back the suit of armour, then disappeared. Roos' fighters were growing in strength.
