((Just a note before I start, DON'T just jump into this thread. I'm putting heart and soul in this, so if you are desperate on jumping in, give me a PM or something first.))
Jakole was shooting alond the plains of his new home, Roosland, at mach speeds, the cool wind blowing his hair out of his eyes, and blowing his tattered rags that he still called a Gi back. This is when he realized.
He ground to a halt in Mid-Air, and looked down at his clothes. "That can't do," He muttered with a grin. He looked out to the nearby shore, and strained his eyes. There was a dull grey line on the very far horizon, and many lighter lines in front of it. He gave a huge grin, and raised his arms slowly, forming the glowing balls of Ki now recognised as his Clones. I could use some training, He thought.
He looked at his clones, still grinning. "Last one to Pellonia is a rotten egg!" He shouted, as he began to run, a massive crack shaking the hills, as his legs began to move so quickly they could bearly be seen, and he was running on the water, a foamy spray shooting up as he laughed. He hadn't felt this good in years!!
As the hoverboard zipped across the ocean to Roosland, Jakole realized the flaws in his master plan. Firstly, the Hoverboard was not as fast as he was! It had taken about 3 days for the pair to get halfway. Although this was a decent advantage to Jakole, as he and his new girl, Kristine, had got to have alot of time 'Alone'. He was pretty sure, however, she was now fired!!
The second problem was this: Jakole still didn't have a house. He had, however, told Kristine, that he had a house. Hence the predicament. Now he had to build a house without his new girl finding out. He'd now managed to get a good start, as he could easily teleport to the Island, and had begun to build a decent looking house from rock, which he spent hours forming out of one of the mountains neary. He'd got the foundations done, but the only problem was really that he had to do it when Kristine wouldn't notice. Therefore, it was when she was sleeping, and Jakole wasn't getting any. He wasn't getting much sleep either.
It was on this particular night, however, that everything began to go wrong. He made sure Kristine was wrapped up tight, and teleported off back to Roosland. He appeared next to his house, which, by now, was half built. Unfortunatly, the Hoverboard would arrive in under 24 hours. Jakole had to work fast!
He flew off towards the half demolished mountain, and began to blast more bricks out of the landscape. He grabbed a load when he had about 300, and zoomed back to the house, darting up and down when he dropped the occasional brick. He reached his housing location, and began to balst the bricks together. Who needs cement, eh?
He continued to do this all through the night, and miraculously had actually managed to finish! He looked at his newly constructed house, and wasn't too disapointed. It looked good! He was pleased with it. Luckely, the light was just shining over the horizon, and he had to go back to Kristine.
The board was closer than he thought, and the pair arrived on the shores of the island as he arrived back on the board, the slight bump in height as they hit the shore not only nearly knocking Jakole off, but waking Kristine up. "Are we here?" She said wearily, rubbing the sleep out of her eyes. "That we are," Jakole replied, picking her up, and kissing her forehead. The pair continued along the land until they reached the the house, Jakole jumping off the board, which immediatly retracted to it's normal size as Kristine jumped off into Jakole's arms. He kissed her again, and put her down, stooping to pick up the board, and then standing again in one swift movement to open the door, which he had made with a nearby tree, along with all the wood in the house.
It was when he opened the door, that his biggest flaw struck him like a bolt of lightning, He ran forwards, shouting for her to stop, but he was too late. Kristine had walked into the house, and begun to look around at the bare walls and empty rooms. Jakole smacked himself on the forehead. Furniture! he screamed at himself inside his head, Why did I forget FURNITURE!!!
Jakole reached up and scratched the bottom of his neck, as Kristine began to investigate the entire house, to see if he had any furniture at all. Jakole waited until she was upstairs, before slowly following her up. He heard a wierd noise, before moving quicker up the stairs.
He arrived upstairs, and his expression turned from nervousness to surprised. There was a bed! It had appeared out of nowhere. Then he had realized what was on the bed. "Well, That can't be bad," He said, with a broad grin as he moved towards the bed...
A few hours later, Jakole was in his newly built kitchen. He had noticed that, somehow, he had received alot more furnature. A full houses worth in fact. He cast a glance up to where his bedroom was. "This could work," He muttered, as he opened his new fridge, and pulled out a beer. It definatly could work!!
Soon after, Kristine walked in, and began to stroke Jakole's neck. "Good Morning," Jakole said with a grin, as Kristine began to kiss his neck. "So, when are we having it?" She said. This got Jakole a little confused. "Having...what?" He said. "Well, the wedding of course!" She said. She's gotta go, He said inside his head.
It was in the middle of the next night that Jakole had to act. A contented Kristine lay beside him, as he tried to wriggle his way out from underneath her. A bead of sweat started down his forehead as she moved in her sleep, mumbling something. Jakole grabbed a nearby pillow, and rolled out from beneath her, immediatly shoving the pillow in where he just was. Isn't it strange, he thought to himself, Super Powers, and I can't even get a girl out of my house!!
He got up properly, and got dressed. Kristine mumbled something again as he pulled on his vest, and he froze. When he realized that she stopped moving, he pulled on his Vest and then grabbed his jacket in one hand. He looked back at Kristine. She had rolled off the pillow, and was nearly off the bed. "Bloody Typical," He muttered. As she rolled off the end of the bed.
"Shit!!" He muttered, as time slowed down, and Kristine fell slower from the bed. In the next moment, he was gone. He appeared again, lying on the floor, as Kristine fell gently into his arms. "Bloody Typical! This aint my day." He said quietly, as time sped up again, as he dissapeared.
He appeared again, outside his door, holding Kristine in his arms, who was wearing nothing more than a bedsheet. He ran forwards gently, jumping into the air and gliding slowly through the darkness.
Kristine awoke on a patch of soft grass. She wasn't wearing anything except a bedsheet, and she could hear the soft lapping of water nearby. She opened her eyes, and saw Jakole standing above her, scratching his neck. "Whats going on?" She said, in a confused tone. "Well, the thing is..." Jakole began...
The real Jakole was at his house. Feeling slight twinges in parts of his body as he sensed his clone being beaten to hell. "Bloody Typical," He muttered.
It had been 2 days since the incident. Jakole was lounging around his house, watching TV and drinking Cola mostly. He was watching an early morning talk show, when the thought suddenly struck him. He was bored as hell.
He stood up, crushing the can he was drinking from, and throwing it into a bin nearby. He walked out of the door, flicking the hoverboard out of his pocket, which expanded to the appropriate size as Jakole jumped on, zooming off to see what he could find...
-- Returning from Introduction of Aya and Castle Comealot --
Aya watched the castle as it drew away from sight. So much had changed in her life since her father left (which she kept reminding herself was just a few hours ago.) She had met the mysterious Jakole and his friends and had set out on new adventures. She had also had her first ride on a hoverboard and wasn't liking it much. She was trying not to say anything just incase Jakole would take it the wrong way, they hadn't said much since one of his friends had called her Jakole's girlfriend. Aya was worrying slightly about this, His girlfriend? she kept thinking, Why did he say that? Does it look like i'm his girlfriend? Do I want to be his girlfriend? Does he want me to be his girlfriend? He did go very red when it was mentioned. Maybe he does want me to be his girlfriend! Oh what to do? What to do? She asked herself many questions, usually the same ones over and over but still many questions. Until suddenly they stopped outside a house, Aya had been thinkin so much that she didn't even notice they had arrived and fell off the hoverboard rather painfully! "OW!" she muttered. "Where are we?"
Jakole had thought he'd let Aya have a little fun. Just after they had left Castle Comalot, he had backflipped off the hoverboard, and flown down, now flying steadily just beneath it, only to get hit in the face by the occasional rock. He drifted out from beneath it, and flew along next to Aya.
Every now and again, he cast a glance to Aya. Only to immediatly feel a wierd sinking feeling in his chest and look away. He was continuously thinking about what Carniku had said. Did he want a girlfriend? Did he want Aya for a girlfriend? And what the hell was up with this bloody sinking feeling?!
Luckely, before he could think much more, they reached his house. He landed, and turned to Aya. "Welcome, this is my house. Let yourself in!"
"Your house?" asked Aya, she looked at it and sighed. This is a house? It looks as if it's just been blasted out of a mountain! definatley needs a womans touch. "Very nice, is this real mountain rock?" She took a few steps towards the house and then noticed something a little disturbing, "um.. where's the cement?? Your house could fall down at any second! Is anything in your life well made?" She finished with a laugh as she went to open the door. I'll be surprised if he even remembered furniture she thought.
When Aya walked inside she had to double take in awe. The outside might've looked shoddy and rough but the inside was like a palace. All the walls were nicely decorated, a soft warm carpet was on the floor and the furniture in view (though minimilistic) went perfectly with the feel of the room. She walked up to the nearest chair (a soft squidgy number) and sat down. The effect was immediate. After travelling around on hoverboards for a day and suffering many shocks this was just what she needed. All that was missing was a nice hot drink. 'Doubt he knows that, she thought, This place is amazing! but why has he brought me here? He looked embarressed when i was called his girlfriend so, what does he want from me??
((Sorry Rosie, I'm off to get my weapons and apply for TEMPLAR. I'll be back soon. Redecorate or something ))
Jakole followed Aya into the house, leaving the door open. He felt a strange tugging inside of him, he didn't really know what it was, but it was new. He walked over to Aya. "Look, I've gotta go for a bit. You're welcome to stay here." He said, now giving a faint smile, "Hope you do. Anyways, I'll see ya later."
He said this rather uneasily, leaving through the open door and flipping his board onto the ground. He looked around. "Oh yeah, take this." He said, throwing a small, silver makeshift key onto the ground. With this, he left off into the countryside.
"Ok" said Aya as Jakole disappeared through the door. phew. she breathed. What an eventful day! At least now I can relax on my own and think for a bit. she sat there in the comfortable chair for a while. In the distance she heard a rumble from the mountains. What was that? she thought. She stood up and went to the door to investigate but all she could see was a small black blur which could've been a bird. She turned around and noticed the key Jakole had dropped, crouching down to look at it more closely she realised it was the key to the house. I wonder whats out there, she thought and locked the door behind her as she went to look around.
Aya was getting bored. She had looked around and decided that although the environment was beautiful, it didn't really do anything. She had sat there watching the clouds for what must've been hours before walking back to the house. What should I do now? she thought to herself as she looked around the building. A growl from her stomach told her she was hungry so she set off in search of the kitchen. When she found it she couldn't believe that she had wasted her time watching clouds float past. The fridge took up what had to be a quarter of the room, another quarter was then taken by the cooker. Opposite was a row of surfaces with appliances of all shapes and sizes. There were machines to make food and machines to get rid of leftovers, machines which made drinks from nothing, machines which went BEEP and machines which go PING. Hmmm, thought Aya. Interesting. There were even magnetic letters on the fridge.... What more could a girl want???
Carniku flew from Castle Come-a-lot but before he flew off the island he pulled himself to a stop, his yellow aura pushing out against his direction. He flew straight down landing slightly loudly on his feet, he turned his head a few times thinking about his idea, Xarius and Kor could wait a few minutes while checked this out. He slowly ambled towards Jakole's House and stuck his head in, he looked around quickly for Jakole but couldn't sense or see his friend. The young saiyan rubbed the bacl of his head as he thought about what this could mean by walking into the house until he caught sight of Aya he walked into the kitchen and waved "Hey Aya, Have you seen Jakole around? Wanted to ask if he's up to going for a world-tour." He cocked his head to one side as he examined the kitchen. A little cramped but everywhere needed a Roasting pit like some people insisted when they were having their castle built (or as he is told to call it his Roos-ting pit)
"Hi," Aya replied, "Not for a while actually. He left me to go and do something. Not quite sure what." Why isn't he back yet? Aya thought, He asked me to stay so he should be coming back, right? "I thought he might've gone back to the castle. Sorry I can't be more help."
Carniku sighed to himself, He had a decent idea where Jakole may have gone so he now had a destination in mind for his flight, he stuck his tongue in his cheek as he pondered what to do. "Hey I know! How about we go find Jakole! I think he's probably at Guardian's Look-out want to come? Unless you'd rather stay here for a while? Anyway, Me, Kor and Xarius are goin there, you're welcome to follow" Carniku stepped outside and jumped upwards, just as he began to fall downwards he kicked his aura into life and glowing abright yellow blasted back down to in fron to Jakole's new house and waited to hear from Aya.
Carniku floated in mid-air with his yellow aura glowing, it would only be a few minutes before Xarius and Kor arrived now so they should probably get away quickly, He rubbed his chin now as he tried thinking some more. "Hey Aya, Can you fly? If you can't I'll have to piggy-back ya or something" Carniku had only ever carried one other person while flying and that wasn't really a good event, especially since it had ended up with him holding the passenger by his ankle so he had to think of a slightly better way to carry her to the Look-out if she couldn't fly.
"Um... not exactly." It was true that Aya had never flown before in her life, except on the hoverboard of course. She had learnt how to teleport but that was only for short distances and she had always mucked it up somehow. Aya shuddered as she remembered the rather embarrassing incedent which had happened around a year before. Never again she thought. She smiled at Carniku, "Sorry."
Carniku floated down and sighed a little "It's cool Aya, I just have to carry you. Its not that far to Great Continent East so I could probably get us there easily" Carniku held out his arms and bent his fingers in a come on gesture "Come on, then, Sooner we set off sooner you can get over the air-sickness"
(note: I can't just scoop ya up or its an auto so although it makes no sense I had to have that last bit)
Carniku rocketted off and began flying with great haste to the Guardian's Tower. His aura should be a clear enough trail for Xarius and Kor to follow if they weren't already going in that direction. Once they'd found Jakole, Carniku would drop off Aya and then decide where to take Kor. He should really have been paying attention as he nearly hit a small Zeppelin until he spun to one side. He gulped a little as he headed towards the tower.
