Ra'keth nodded as he listened to what Hiei had to say.
An evil guy? Well, didn't sound like anything Ra'keth hadn't delt with before...An image of Mustov's round face flashed across his mind, causing a small, toothy grin to appear on the Eckolon's face.
Alright, so, any idea when this guy's gunna-- His question was cut short as a figure emerged from the sky and split the darkened clouds. A thunder followed, and a huge bolt of lightning shot down from the heavens to strike the ground but a few meters from the group.
Then, the figure, covered in huge wings, touched down in front of the staff weilding, purple haired man, and a huge explosion was the result of his arrival.
The blast tore up the ground under Ra'keth's feet and he was thrown backwards at an alarming rate. His first thought was of Hope; was she hit by the explosion?
Instantly, his head flicked around during his backwards flight to try to locate the girl.
She looked okay, but Ra'keth wanted to make sure she would be.
He kicked up his feet and propelled his body into a deftly executed backflip. The Eckolon sailed about ten feet through the smokey air before vanishing.
Ra'keth teleported from his previous location, to arrive in front of Hope. He hoped he didn't startle her. Thrusting out his hands, he placed them on her shoulders, and looked her in the eyes before disappearing once again.
The two appeared about thirty meters back fom their original position, and Ra'keth let go of her body before talking.
His face was stern as he spoke.
Hope, this guy looks, and feels like bad news. Really bad news. I need to know if you're going to stay.
The Eckolon felt a well of power within the girl. It wasn't power like he, or like Drakkar had. It was not fighting power, but a different kind...A softer kind, but still very strong.
If you decide to stay, I know you can help us. You have the potential, I can feel it. He paused to flick a bang out of his face, which only resulted in it falling back over his eye, and lip.
If not, then...I'll let you decide what you want to do.
Ra'keth cast a backward glance at the group he just left. It looked like that guy from the sky was talking...
He was strong...A speak of doubt wormed it's way into Ra'keth's mind.
[shadow=green,left,300]My god....He feels like he could give Alykoth a run for his money, if not win.[/shadow]
His head returned to face Hope, awaiting her voice.
