This was by far not her smartest move but, if she was blunt, she was rapidly running out of idea's, not to mention options. Registration was in full effect, she was, in effect, being hunted every minute of every day, not only that but now there was a Resistance in full effect. Unfortunately is was a Resistance she wanted no part of, not when said Resistance was wracking up a terrible head count, a head count that counted innocent men, woman and children in its number.
It was a frustrating scenario, hunted by the people that she wanted to protect and wanting no association with those who would protect her. In the days since the Registration had begun two sides had emerged, Talia found herself having no place with either of them. Worst of all she was utterly failing in her efforts to find Musashi.
Days had passed since that battle, days since he had been abducted, and despite her efforts, and the efforts of a few others, no trace had been found. Not even one, single, clue. It frustrated her no end, not being able to help the ones she loved.
Now she found herself back here, the home of the man himself, and probably the worst place she wanted to be if she wanted to stay off the radar. She had too come back though, although it had nothing to do with the man himself today, no, circumstances had demanded she take a short break from that search, circumstances had brought unwanted attention down on Musashi's Dojo. Specifically its students.
The Resistance had come calling, leaving behind their notes and offers, looking to bend the children of this place towards their own purposes. Talia wasn't about to have that, not for one minute.
Talia moved under the cover of darkness, darting from one rooftop to the other, doing her best to bury her power levels as deeply as possible, as low as they could be. If she wanted to keep her presence unknown she had to hide her power level, she had to stay off the radar, something that was certainly easier said than done.
Talia came to a stop as the Dojo stood just across the street. It looked deserted, no sign of activity, no sign of life, no sign of anyone. If the Dojo was still under observation from the Registration Forces then she could see no sign of them. That either meant they had given up on this location and moved on...or they were simply good at what they did.
She had to take he chance.
Jumping down from the near by rooftop to the street below Talia silently darted across the road as a speeding blur, stopping at the entrance for just a moment before entering inside. Either she hadn't been spotted, which would be a "Yay" result for her...or those that could be observing were simply waiting to see what she did next.
Not daring too turn on any of the lights Talia instead headed directly toward the opposite wall, toward the very reason for her presence here, a simple note nailed to the wall. Pulling it down she gave it a quick read. quickly recognizing it for what it was, for what she had feared it to be.
It was from the Resistance, a Invitation. They had turned this place, her home away from home, into a recruitment post, turning children into canon fodder for their private war. With a small sneer Talia crumpled up the note, she would burn it later.
If they wanted this place, and the children that had lived and trained here, if they wanted to turn them into little soldiers, they would have to do so over her dead body.
