((((Continued from "Another Kind Of Battle" Pg. 1, Reply #14 on the Juin Continent. Kenu, this involves you. I just wanted to create my own thread instead of jumping into "City of Impersonators")))
Indigo and Garin's training was complete; after their day of rest, they left early in the morning on a single pocket dragon. The the infiltrator pods were loaded onto the dragon's pylons, and they prepared for the long flight to the Central Continent. Both of them relied on their intense mental training to push through the three hours of intense waiting, fighting the anxiety, feeling the dragon rock gently in the air. It flew unnoticed by anyone, passing over country after country without being detected. Because they were moving against Eden's eastward rotation, it was still dark when they reached the drop zone. Twenty miles from the objective, the pod bays opened, and the two invisible soldiers dropped out.
They let themselves fall free from the Dragon's reach, while it turned around and headed for home. They flew the next fifteen miles within a few minutes, watching leafy trees' shadows pass below them in dark green streaks. They gradually descended below the tree line, slowing their pace to avoid getting tangled in the branchy canopy.
Finally, they took to the ground, hiking in the last five miles to their objective. They broke leaves from trees and stuck them in special netting on their camoflauged clothes. They checked their equipment one last time, testing their sensors for accuracy, making sure their weapons weren't damaged during transport.
While they suppressed their own powers, aided by a combination of stealth and the kinetic armor, Garin felt out for Kenu's power. Kenu was sleeping (OOC: I assume so since it's early morning) and couldn't be sensed by any normal means, so Indigo and Garin were searching for him purely on the intelligence they were given in the report. They moved towards coordinates they hoped were right. Finally, Garin's frequency scanner detected a Saiyan power two miles off. They found him.
They needed to be within one mile of him to be in effective range, and he had to be virtually still. Their hike slowed to a silent stalk, and finally to a crawl as they found a perfect position to snipe from. Garin set up his monocular and started going through his maps to figure out their exact location. He calibrated his instruments while Indigo got into a meditative position, preparing to unleash a true focus point. Garin toggled a few knobs on the monocular. At the center of his vision was a red dot, representing Kenu. At the top was a bar that looked like harmonic waves, representing Kenu's energy. On the right side were listed his distance, angle, average moving speed, and his "dimensions." On the left side was his current power level.
"Ok Indigo," he whispered, "From the origin, 5,246 feet. Head is 5 degrees left; six degrees up. Current speed, 0mph. Current power, 3. Confirm and fire when ready."
Indigo replied with an equally quiet whisper. He started focusing his power, while reviewed the information he was given by Garin, "5,246 feet.... 5 degrees left; six degrees up. Current speed, 0mph. Current power, 3....firing."
When he said, "Firing," he actually meant he was gathering his concentration. A good sniper always waited to fire until he was ready. Indigo took a deep breath and kept his eyes closed. When he was ready, he created a more focused point than he'd ever made in his life. The build-up in power in front of Kenu's head was no more than a moment. Then the focus point exploded.
Garin watched the spike in power from the explosion through his scope. Both he and Indigo watched and waited to see the result of their attack.
