Daz flitted for miles, taking the long way around the enemy camp. Once he was a few miles away from the camp, but still within seeing distance. He stood there waiting for a while. Drawing energy from all of the heat around him. "Lunas, when night falls i wil strike, with any luck i should be able to take out a large number of men with this one strike. But if i do this, i will be terribly weak, and it might be possable that i wont be able to help out," said Daz to Lunas using his mind. That done he sat down to wait. A few hours later while he was meditating a group of men snuck up on him. "Shh, shh shh," the leader said to his small group. They bore the insignia of Felix's men. The group slowly drew their blades, all but one at least. The leader hung back. Daz had known of their coming for a while now, and was more than prepared.Roaring he shot to his feat blade out in an instant, the five swordsmen around him jumped back in fear. Lashing out with his long sword he cleaved of a mans head. Seeing their prey moving the men were startled into action. Two of the remaining four lept foreword at once, Daz parried one of the blades and dodged the other. Sending a staggering punch to one mans jaw sending him spinning to the ground. The two behind him launched themselves at him, and he ducked under their blades, sending a slash back at them. Severing their body's from the knees up he rounded on the last swordsmen, plunging his blade through the mans heart. But in his fight he had forgotten the man in the back. He had been muttering feverishly and making intricate patterns in the air. Then Daz realized what it was, a spell of binding. Roaring in protest he pulled one of his knives and sent it hurtling into the caster. But a split second before it him in the shoulder he finished his spell, and Daz was bound. A magical net materialized in the air and fell onto him. Pulling him to the ground Daz writhed in protest. But the magical net refused to budge, and worse yet it cut into his flesh when ever he struggled, slowly squeezing him when he tried to break it. He mage had somehow moved just in time to make the knife embed itself into his shoulder. Roaring Daz tried casting his spells but found he could not, and when ever he tried it burned his flesh. So Daz lay there in a net totally defenseless. The mage called out and more of Felix's men walked out from behind rocks. One man grabbed the net and started to drag him towards their camp, and the rest of the men fell in line. The mage walked close to him, snickering at him, a smug smile spread across his lips. At that moment Daz vowed he would make that man pay. And so slowly Daz was dragged in the magical net towards the camp, as the sun fell and the moon came up.
