Under the cover of darkness, the teams separated and headed out on their missions. Bryce's team had the shorter jump, needing only to cross the over the short bit of water to the great continent East, but Musashi's squad had a long and dangerous flight over open water.
The saiyan led from the front, keeping his power level down to nearly o and flying as low to the wave tops as possible, resulting in a chilling spray that soaked his bones in the cold of morning. The flight was a slow one, and the sun had already crept above the horizon by the time the team had reached the shores of the Great Continent West. Musashi kept strict silence, knowing this was the most dangerous part. He motioned his team down, as if telling them to as close to, or in the water as possible. He hoped that all their power readings together would only read as one weak signal to the enemies, and so he could test their defenses. This would be one of the tough spots in their mission, once they got on land, they could make their way by foot to the nearest area, and blend in to the terrain.
Musashi touched down on the mud and sand beach, the solution just beginning to warm with the days sun. It was low tide, and he padded as stealthily possible towards the grove of trees nearby. An easy entrance was apparently not in the cards today, as a squad of fifteen soldiers roared up the beach in a hovercraft, which threw sand in a sideways spray as it screeched to a stop. Musashi watched them get out, and he knew this was going to result in a fight, but he tried to play dump despite his gi and swords. His tail, fortunately was tucked beneath the skirt of his jacket, removing one identifying feature.
The shock troops poured off the craft, their sand colored jumpsuits nearly blending into their pale skin tone. The weapons mounted on their arms were quite prominent though, dispelling any image of peace. Upon closer inspection, the saiyan could see that these were not mere saiyan clones, armored plates were formed beneath the skin, probably radically altered with symbiotic organisms bred to absorb energy. “This is not going to be pretty,” the saiyan thought to himself.
The last person to dismount was the officer, covered in imposing light blue armor with a death's head mask covering his face and masking his voice. He spoke with the confidence of one who is holding a hand of ace's on the last play of the game, [glow=red,4,300]”Well what have we here? Didn't you hear there was a law against the possession of weapons? I'm afraid we'll have to get your name, and confiscate those. Your penalty will be quiet severe I'm afraid, unless you want to give them to me now and pay me a fee of @5,000?”[/glow]
Musashi spoke calmly, even now mentally preparing for the steps he would take. He responded ever so politely,[glow=green,8,300]”I'm afraid you cannot have these...”[/glow] The officer didn't even wait for him to finish his statement, he broke in with his mechanical sounding voice and said, [glow=red,4,300]”I didn't think you'd turn them over willingly, Musashi!”[/glow]
Then abruptly the officers power level skyrocket beyond any of the troopers and his aura exploded into a deep red. He landed one massive punch directly into Musashi's sternum before the saiyan could even move to defend himself. Musashi was driven into the air, and crashed back first into one shock troops, knocking him down. His body then skipped three times on the sand before crumpling into a ball on the beach. Blood leaked from the corner of his mouth, staining the muddy brown sand red as the remainder of the shock. The officer said, [glow=red,4,300]”Get him”[/glow] and five shocktroopers parted from the formation on the beach to go retrieve the Saiyan's limp form.
