As Gabriel prayed he was struck with a vision...
Gabriel saw Keiji...his power was incredible. And then he saw the leader of the Quaj-Mi's...his name was, Qua-Jin. He watched as the two warriors battled, it was an incredible battle. Gabriel knew it wasn't a fight in this world, it must be what people on this world called "the otherworld." It was interesting concept...it was funny how the true God allowed such things to exist, it clouded people's minds into thinking that there were other God's. They were God's in their own mind, but their true powers were nothing...but Gabriel realized these "Gods" had long been dead, which was what Keiji was always talking about...such power and knowledge...of this world and even the otherworld. If only Gabriel could show him the truth.
Then Gabriel saw the battle escalate...Keiji unleashed some sort of ultimate attack and then all Gabriel could see was darkness...and then Gabriel saw a vision of some sphere, Gabriel assumed this to be the 'celestial sphere.' He saw the powers that it controlled...how could it? How could such a thing exist?
Instantly Gabriel saw another vision...it was Eden...in turmoil. It was the final battle. Their were bodies lining the ground...Gabriel looked down and saw the bodies disappearing, what did it mean? Then, Gabriel saw Sardis, fighting to all his ability...he wasn't strong enough...no....Gabriel also saw Karius...fighting valiantly and Keiji...and he saw himself...but he wasn't fighting...he looked closer...
Gabriel lay on the ground. His body seemed so lifeless...blood was coursing through his body, from seemingly every pore in his body, how could it have happened? No...no.
Gabriel opened his eyes and again he was in the locker room. He simply couldn't understand, was that the time that he was supposed to die...there was no way he could understand. Gabriel pushed himself off of the locker and turned around. He stepped around the bench that was in front of the set of lockers and sat down on it. He looked up at the TV...it was split four ways, two of the screens were showing replays of the matches that already had found victors...the other two were showing audience shots and shots of judges who were still to decide the winners...Gabriel now knew that he would have to fight either Samyik or Deandes...the two strongest fighters in the tournament...Gabriel knew that he would have to unleash more than he had ever unleashed before in this match. Gabriel knew that whoever won this match would win the tournament.
Gabriel watched the TVs in anticipation, wondering who the victor would be.
