The announcer yelled out the name of the winner. It wasn't Alykoth.
WHHAT?!! Alykoth came baring down on the tiny announcer, picking him up by his head. The colour drained from the man's face as Alykoth stared into his eyes.
You insolent WRETCH!! Alykoth roared as he flung the ref to the ground. There was a sickening thud as the body slammed into the white tiles, which soon turned bright red, as a spray of the man's life fluids spurted out from under him.
Alykoth then turned to his brother.
You know aswell as I do that this isn't about money, about a title... This is about race! About PROOF that the saiy-jins are a weak, pitiful people. And that you're one of them. Alykoth spat onto the floor.
You also know that I'm not... that there are.. He was having trouble finishing the sentance. You know damned well.. that there are stronger fighters in this tournament that I, and look what to took to 'defeat' me.. if you can even call this a victory.
Alykoth paused for a moment, as to let his words sink in.
Then, he turned his back to Gabriel, and started to walk out of the arena.
I'm not going to stay and watched your defeat, but, I will be around, when the time comes.. Isondell..
Gabriel smiled...this had been a victory in his eyes...he knew at this point he was stronger than his brother...even if it was merely because of his transformations...it was because God had annointed him to come this far.
Gabriel saw Alykoth hit the referee...Gabriel then ignored his brother's words...as he was speaking with rage. Gabriel also knew that the other fighters in the tournament weren't stronger than he and Alykoth and that was more senseless babble. Gabriel jumped towards the referee, who was obviously lifeless...Gabriel, still in his Strength of Jehova form had life giving powers...he walked towards the dead body and touched and began to give his life force to the refree. He slowly began to breath life into the referee and in that instant...his heard began again and his wounds were healed.
Gabriel looked into his eyes and saw gratefullness like he had never seen...it was like a new born baby, or a puppy that has seen it's master...the man began to cry.
"Thank you so much...I have a daughter that was just born...and I don't know how her mother would have explained it...thank you..."
Gabriel smiled...God had truly blessed him. He turned back to where Alykoth had been...he had walked away. Suddenly Gabriel could feel his energy falling again...he would have to meditate and pray a while to regain his strength...he closed his eyes and the bright white aura that was surrounding him faded...his blonde hair changed quickly back to brown and he slouched down...feeling his injuries now for the first time. He was thankful that he had regeneration...he thought of his mother for a moment. She brought joy to his heart...he knew that there was something missing in his life...a woman. But that wasn't what he needed to think about now...he needed to think about his next match.
Gabriel stood up. He shook the referee's hand and then walked out of the arena...the audience slowly trickeling out and cheering sporatically...Gabriel headed to the locker rooms, waiting to hear his name again.
