Place Of Birth: Eden
History: Li has been raised by the Monks at the monastery for as long as he can remember. He knows nothing about his parents or other family, and the monks could not seem to tell him anything about them either. As the only child at the monastery, he was raised after their monastic order, under the wing of the Enlightened One, and, even at an early age, showed a natural talent for harnessing the energy of nature.
To balance his education, they allowed Li to attend the local public school, where he could learn the ways of the world and be with other children his age. Li was a talented student, and popular among his peers, but he kept his more unusual abilities a secret, not sure how to explain them.
Unfortunately, the monastery has fallen on hard times as of late. They used to receive steady donations from wealthy members of the country who subscribed to their brand of spirituality, but as they aged and passed on, there were few in the younger generation who subscribed to the old beliefs. Seeing an opportunity to utilize Li's youth, skills, and outgoingness, the Elders asked him for a favor: to go around the world on a fund-raising tour.
Li saw it as the perfect opportunity to see what the world had to offer while giving back to the men and women who had given him everything he had.
