Basic Abilities
Sixth Sense: The V'alcan brain possessesss a node that connects one with his environment via bioelectric signals. This allows V'alcan to 'sense' others and react to their presence and actions, even if he cannot see, hear, or feel them.
Rapid Healing: Falkan can heal from any non-lethal wound at a much faster rate than humans.
Charged Weapons: Falkan is able to charge his weapons with a little of his own energy, adding an extra punch to his weapons and allowing him – and only him - to ignite his otherwise harmless grenades.
Energy Blast:Using Rhiannon, Falkan can fire energy blasts of many shapes, sizes and types.
Energy Absorption: Using Rhiannon, Falkan has a chance to absorb energy rather than simply deflect it, which he can use to return fire or even transfer to himself.

Intensity Boost: – Intense emotion results in a sudden and sustained burst of strength and speed nearly double the normal limits. The only noticeable outward sign is a change in eye color. In Falkan's case, the eyes change from black to blue.
The Sword Rhiannon: A beautiful longsword belonging to a friend of Falkan's from his homeworld. Rhiannon appears to be a normal sword, but is in fact a technological marvel. The metal itself is unremarkable, a simple super-hard alloy from Faerdone. However, the weapon houses highly advanced nanotechnology allowing the weapon to realign it's molecules instantly. The blade can grom from dull to sharp in the blink of an eye, change it's weight, thickness, or length as the situation demands; and absorb, contain, and analyze energy of all types. This allows Falkan, who has little ability to manipulate ki himself, to block or bat away energy blasts with relative ease, and in some cases he has been known to use Rhiannon to absorb an enemy's own blast and fire it back at them later. An AI programmed into the weapon controls its adaptive nature, sensing Falkan's intentions and ensuring the sword is ready to perform as needed.
Realm Shifting: Many V'alcans are able to manipulate their environment by reversing the way their 'sixth sense' node works. Some have mastered the ability – Falkan is one of them. Realm shifting allows him to make use of his environment in a wide variety of ways, such as creating whirlwinds, hurling fireballs, or raising walls from the earth. The greater the mass of the element he's moving, the more energy it takes, and he cannot simply create an element from thin air. In order for him to shift something, it must be present in his immediate vicinity. The more powerful of these techniques are listed below
Earthly upheaval: Falkan can 'pull' chunks of earth from the ground and hurl them at opponents in various shapes and sizes. (boulders, spears, etc.) Generally, the bigger and farther away the earth he 'pulls' is, the more energy and focus the technique requires.
Icy Prison: Falkan brings his hands around in a circle, then together into a closed fist. The air in the target area supercools into a globe of ice. When Falkan closes his fists, the sphere collapses inward, both crushing and freezing anything unlucky enough to be inside.
Air Hammer: Falkan assumes an open-palmed fighting style. Every punch or kick thrown in this form is accompanied by a blast of super-pressurized air capable of doing just as much damage as a solid punch. The practical range is fairly short -about twenty feet. For a longer range, he has to strike much slower to allow the power to build.
Scattered Flame: Falkan brings his closed fists in to his chest, then throws his arms out straight, palms open. A number of fireballs shoot forward in a shotgun style blast. The number, size, and power of the fireballs depend on how long he has had to 'charge' the blast with his hands in.
Burning Winds: With his left hand, Falkan unleashes a stream of flame. With his right hand, he spins off a whirlwind that catches the fire and rages across the battlefield. The size of the whirlwind depends on how long he can focus on building it up, but once unleashed the attack continues regardless of Falkan's condition. This is usually for a few minutes at most, as it will burn itself out without constant management.
Wind Spear: Falkan extends the index and middle fingers of his left hand, palm up, and lays the same fingers of his right hand across them. With a flick of the right wrist, he lets fly a blast of wind that compresses on the lead edge into a fine point. The minor energy required to use this technique means he is able to release a rapid barrage of these spears.
Ignition: This is simply an extended application of the Charged Weapons ability. By pointing and then snapping his fingers, Falkan can trigger an energy release in everyday items or even plants or smaller life forms. The size of the explosion depends on the item ignited. (A can of gasoline, for example, will make a considerably larger boom than a grasshopper.)
Ultimate Abilities
Rhiannon's Failsafe - The sword is powerful, but only in the hands of a powerful wielder. On its own, the sword is nothing. Because of this, it is programmed to preserve itself and its wielder at all costs, with or without regard to the well-being of others. If Rhiannon senses imminent danger to itself or its wielder, a failsafe is triggered that unleashes the immense amount of stored reserve energy in a chain reaction. One explosion triggers another, bigger explosion, and the reaction goes on, increasing exponentially with every reaction, while Rhiannon and its host are protected by asmall, but extremely strong energy shield. The result is generally the annihilation of all life within a massive area, leaving only the sword and its user.
