Name: Brandon Prometheus Haggardy
Other Aliases: Prometheus
Height: 5' 11"
Weight: 178 lbs
Hair: Short, Sandy Brown
Aura Color: None
Description: Brandon doesn’t believe himself to be, but he is a rather charming young man. His face isn’t narrow, but neither is it round and boyish. He seems to have found an interesting middle ground that isn’t all-together average, but is instead somewhat handsome. His nose has been described “cute,” a tad small for his face, but not gratuitously so. His facial features overall are softly rounded, lending him a friendly look that stays clear of the realm of a patsy.
Not one to care much about his personal appearance, he does make sure to keep himself clean-shaven with the exception of a goatee he's been cultivating since freshman year in high school. He also has a scar that interrupts his left eyebrow, near the inner end.
Personality: According to Brandon, his strongest point is definitely his sense of fairness, and quick wit. He’s always forced himself to listen to both sides of every argument, and to make sure that if anything he might have done was wrong, then he will swallow his pride and apologize. By his own admission, he has no shame, and if the situation dictates he must do something, then he will do so without looking back.
If he had to pick a characteristic, his weakness is definitely his inability to pick up on social faux pas. He will usually say the wrong thing if asked for his opinion on problems of the heart, but he hopes that everyone knows he only has the best intentions at heart.
When it comes to fights: he’d really rather not. His physical prowess leaves something to be desired, his mental capacities are fit enough for book learning and the occasional quick-witted smart-assery, but he’s really not a fighter. Sometimes, when he either needs to defend himself, is surprised with danger, or faces a difficult moral dilemma, he will use his powers to aid his decision, but usually not for much else.
Moral Alignment: Neutral
Weapons and Equipment:
- A silver Zippo with an Ace of Spades painted on it
Special Skills: Brandon rather enjoys archery. That counts, right?
Relationship Status: Single
Family: Father, Mother, and two Brothers till on Earth
Place Of Birth: San Francisco, California, Earth
History: Brandon is a human, in every sense of the word. Fallible, gullible, and from the planet Earth with only slightly above-average intelligence and a few friends. Born in San Francisco, he spent the better part of his youth with his mother in the parks nearby, his father making enough to afford their three-bedroom apartment. Young Master Haggardy never really wanted for companionship, always having his mother’s affection and the few friends who could tolerate his unique way of looking at things, but neither was he ever really friendly or popular amongst others his own age. In all honesty, he’d always have a more enjoyable time playing his video games with the tenants who rented out the spare room, mostly college students who always seemed to beat him.
It wasn’t until the middle of Grade School that the first manifestations of his unique powers began to arrive. On hot summer days, he would seem to run faster than all the other kids do and require less hydration, and his athletic ability as a whole seemed to sharpen. No one really seemed to notice anything beyond that, and neither did he for the longest time. When he reached high school, his first class in the morning as a Freshman was Advanced Placement Physics, and it was his favorite class out of any of the others. The fact that everything was interconnected in some unseen, mechanical way was absolutely fascinating, and he wanted to learn everything he possibly could; thermodynamics, light waves, resonance, the bending of light through lenses, everything.
Right on through to college and beyond, he majored in Thermodynamics, minored in General Physics, was already an intern at an Engineering firm, and had high hopes for his life. One night after a small party for a friend, his mind felt clear as crystal as he went to bed. Going right to sleep, his dreams were fevered, and in a sudden flash of unconscious inspiration, the Universe made sense to him, he could see the invisible bonds that connected everything.
Then he woke up on Dragonia, wearing clothes he’s never seen before.
