Once an isolated island that meant little in the world, a insignificant little piece of rock that housed just a few brave souls that dared to make a living as men of the sea. Now the island had been turned into a highly advanced military base, a base that housed a large portion of Roosland's military might. A couple of years had passed since the Rooslanders took over the island and moved it's inhabitants back to Roosland. All the fishing huts were gone, replaced by a large cubic building that rose nearly 200 feet into the air. Several smaller cubic buildings surrounded the larger one. This was the Roos Dagger, the latest military base for the Roosopolis Corps. Untold number of soldiers and "Mohawks" were stationed here along with a large number of combat drones. And most of the Alkris Sea was under constant surveillance, keeping a constant watch. Their mission was to keep Roosland safe from harm and any possible intruders that would bring harm upon the small paradise.
The square in front of the main building, the so called "Dagger's keep" as the local grunts liked to call were filled with soldiers. Ranks of red clad soldiers with ki rifles resting in their arms stood at the ready. Ready for action, ready to serve their king and ready to do....absolutely nothing. It was just another routine day at Dagger. Their polished red power army was as shiny as ever, shiny and just for show. Meaning nothing had really happen around Roosland ever since the Juin assault many years ago. Yet Colonel Trax was sure that something would try to have their way with Roosland in the close future, and he sure as hell would not want to stand idle and watch. He had already been in several meetings with both General Zamodier, King Roos and the Roosland Council assuring them about the importance of having Roosopolis Corps fully operative. Though in reality it was quite absurd for such a small country to field such a huge army, and it would appear to be a significant money drain on the small island's economy. Luckily Roosland ranked among the richest countries of Eden thanks to their booming industry and export of rare and valuable gemstones.
The daily routine however would be broken by the sudden appearance of a black clad figure. In the middle of the morning speech, the commander himself nearly choked as a bright flash lit up the square. Immediately rows of ki rifles pointed at the black figure who had appeared in the middle of the square. One sudden movement and he would be swiss cheese. Finally something that would break the boredom that had befell Dagger for quite some time now. The figure didn't speak, only stood up from his crouched position and stared directly at the commander in charge. The commander's face grew pale, could he believe his eyes? Is that you, my lord?
No need to call my lord, Major? The figure was no other than Xarius, lord of Roosford or so he was called. He was not quite sure himself how long he had been away from Roosland. It could have been days, weeks, months or even years... Stand down men!!! Can't you see it's Lord Xarius?! As soon as those words were said, all of the soldiers instantly lowered their rifles and bowed their heads. Quite terrified of what they had just done. I'm Major Heimdal, 10th Roosopolis Corps. My lord. Xarius shook his head and sighed, no matter how hard you would try with these grunts, they still wouldn't get it. So how can we be of service? Routine check? Base inspection? Xarius shook his head yet again, neither of those were correct. In fact he had just come to Dagger on a whim. Sort of. Neither of those Major, I'm just here to grab something to eat, I've heard the fishcakes here are fit for a king.... The major stood bewildered, the lord of Roosford had come to his base for fishcakes?! He had been away for a extended period of time, not a single sign of life and when he first shows up. He wants fishcakes?!
