If it weren't for the fans' avid and deep loyalty to their beloved fighters and warriors, they would have left the stands in anger long ago. Instead, they sat, stood, slept, ate, drank, and did more creative acts in anxiety, eagerness, impatience, and anger as they waited for the announcement of the winners of this round's matches.
The announcer, again woken up with a sharp poke in the head by an envelope, jumped, startled. He caught the envelope as it fluttered through the air, left by a sheepish judge running to avoid being seen by the crowd. The announcer, remembering the crowd's reaction to his announcements last round, decided to just cut to the point.
"Okay, attention, y'alls. It looks like we FINALLY have our winners for this round," he paused expectantly for the crowd's roar of approval. Surprisingly, they all continued whatever it was they were doing as if they hadn't heard him.
"Didn't you hear me?? I said WE HAVE OUR WINNERS!!!!!!!!" only this time, the crowd slowly turned their heads to look at him, dumbfounded. Several people fainted as if they had lost hope that the day would never come.
"Well, here they are then....

But nobody heard his last few sentences because of the uproar of joy and anger spreading through the crowd and those outside of the stands as the news of the winners spread.
