((This is set before the other sign ups. Which is why it's not on that thread.))
The entrance to the area around the Stadium was beautiful. Natural flowers and birds, the occasional monkey swinging from branch to branch as swift as a leaf on the wind. And if it wasn't for the fact he didn't fit in at all, Jakole would feel right at home.
Staggering into the stadium area, a bright light in the dark cave mouth, Jakole dragged himself painfully to the sign-up desk. It was dusk, no one would be around yet. He was even surprised to see the Tournament Official at the desk, shuffling paperwork and checking her watch. She was off duty in 10 minutes, if she could just evade custom...
"I'd like to Sign up!" said Jakole wearily. Bugger, thought the girl. Taking down his details, she realized how easy the job actually was. "Keep your eyes open for the Brackets, have a nice day!" she said, beaming. As Jakole reached for a pen to sign his name, a spark flashed the cave alight for a moment. Rushing his signature and heading off, Jakole didn't want anyone to know this yet.
He was ready for battle. More than anyone would know.
