"Your destiny...bring upon your own doom...former bonds shall shatter...a hero shall fall...
The Old Lady...
A battleworn landscape, battlescars of an epic battle that took place years before. Two friends standing together against a monster, walking victoriously out of the battle. Though nothing of this could have been acheived without the aid of an old woman, through kindness presented them the ultimate weapon to defeat the bringer of apocalypse. Forging the two friends into one powerful weapon of justice...
Old Sarah worked in the garden, raining water upon her precious flowers with great care. The charred landscape around had never healed up after Zedge's destruction and her garden was about the green spot in the whole area that once was green field of flowers, trees and full of life. Even when she received the invitation to live on Roosland, she refused. Wanting to live where she had always lived. Years had passed since the two young warriors she had given shelter and aid to, defeated Zedge. They might have forgotten her, but she still remembered them. Thanks to them, she still lived. But it was getting quite lonely, she missed her late husband and Gertrude had moved to study at the Roosland University leaving her all alone. But not for much longer...
A purple portal suddenly appeared in the middle of her garden, much to her surprise. Old Sarah still stood firm, holding a even firmer grip around the pitchfork she held in her arms. A figure walked out of the portal and stared at the old lady where she stood bravely with her pitchfork. She could not see who or what the figure was as he wore a black cloak that concealed his face. "Don't move mister! Or I'll might have to hurt you." [glow=red,2,300]I doubt that....Sarah.[/glow] The voice, she knew that from somewhere. Her blood froze as she knew it was something familiar with that voice. The pitchfork flew out of her hands and landed next to the figure through telekinesis. Leaving her defenseless. "Who are you? You know my name and..." [glow=red,2,300]Of course...how could I ever forget that...[/glow] The figure removed his cloak, revealing his face to the old lady. A face even though it was scarred by battle and torture she would remember. She covered her mouth with one hand as she stared at the man, a warrior she once had given shelter too. "Xarius...is that you?" [glow=red,2,300]Yes...and I need you to go inside now. I fear for your life...I think Carniku too will come soon...and I fear for your life.[/glow] [glow=yellow,2,300]What do you mean? Am I in danger?[/glow] Xarius walked over to Sarah and placed one hand on her shoulder and smiled. [glow=red,2,300]Not while I'm around...but Carniku you see...someone have tampered with his mind and he's not himself. I fear he'll come here and try to kill you. So please can you go inside. He'll be here any minute.[/glow] [glow=yellow,2,300]But Carniku was such a...oh well. I'll go inside just to be sure. But I can't belive he really wants to kill old me. You two are still friends?[/glow] [glow=red,2,300]Carniku was my best friend untill he strayed down the path of evil...now Im the only one that can stop him. And I'll feel much better when I know you are safe.[/glow] Sarah nodded and walked towards her house, she had difficulties beliving what she just had heard. And now it seemed her life was in danger. And by Carniku nonetheless. A young warrior who had saved them all years ago. She shut the door firmly and locked it tightly, knowing very well that if Carniku really was going to kill her. The door would not save her from a warrior capable of destroying Zedge. [glow=yellow,2,300]Oh I hope Xarius will be alright...[/glow]
Outside Xarius smiled knowing that he had tricked the old fool into beliving him. The first step in his trap to lure Carniku. [glow=red,2,300]Humans...so easily manipulated.[/glow] A ghostfield invisble to a mere humans eye wrapped around Sarah's house. All but one thought and it would collapse inwards and crush everything trapped inside. The sky above began to darken and the chilling gusts blew across the charred landscape.
[glow=red,2,300]Carniku! I need your help....it's Sarah, the old lady who helped us defeat Zedge remember? I think she's in danger...something evil here has risen...she claims she has seen the ghost of Zedge hovering the sky outside her house. I'm going over there to check it out![/glow] A telepathic message were sent to Carniku wherever he was. The final part in his plan and he knew Carniku would take the bait, knowing howmuch Carniku cared about being a hero. It was all a matter of time before he would arrive...
