A first trial of defeating the nightmares

Once more, Raven stood at the balcony of the Queen's Tower. By his side stood the general of the Demon forces who came to aid the Tou'ron in battle against their own kin. "So General... Do you understand my situation?" Raven asked the Demon besides him.
It was strange, but he looked a lot like the other Tou'ron, even though this was originally impossible, since Raven's race had left their home planet only a few times and they did not intermingle with other races. In the same moment that Raven thought about it, one sun rose over the Temple's roof, while the other sun was going down. In this twilight, it was nearly impossible not to be impressed by the sight.
The sun was reflecting from the ornaments of the tower, while the golden luster made the heart of Raven bleed because of the destruction such a civil war would unleash over the innocent people of H'el.
The Demon General nodded and turned to Raven, one hand laying on the balcony, the other placed on the hilt of the sword by his side. "I know what you are feeling. I had the same sensations when my home world was overrun by darkness..." he replied. "But in my case, we had no allies to aid us. Just be hopeful, then the day will be saved somehow..." he added. But Raven could not be that hopeful.
"I have seen the evil in the eyes of my 'nephew'. I can't understand how he could have changed that much without me recognizing it..." full of sorrow, Raven shook his head.
"I can tell you from my own experience that this kind of evil sneaks into a persons mind, leaving him or her unknowing that it is apparent. But then, within seconds, the person in question is taken over by the dark forces..." said the General, looking into the clear, open sky. Every part of Raven's body was trembling when he looked into the ranks of the enemy army. He saw Tou'ron, marching side by side with infernal nightmares and it made him ill.
Finally, there was a sound behind the two watchers and when they returned, they saw...
----------
Bathed in his own sweat, Raven woke up from the nightmare. 'Again, it is haunting me...' he thought by himself. He was unable to break free from the illusions that terrified his mind. Not knowing what to do about it, he rose from his natural bed... Having slept in the 'wilderness' of the new planet, he was not sure whether to be happy not to be eaten by wild animals or not. 'After all, the nightmares would end through that...' Raven said to himself with some kind of sarcasm. It was unusual for him and it frightened him a little. "How much did it change me?" he said to himself, with his voice lowered down a little.
Then, grabbing the bunch of personal items he had brought with him from H'el, Raven searched for a place where he could train a little, like he was used to do. It was already day, so that he could view the area around him perfectly. Not a single living being could be seen, excluded the plants. 'Am I on a ghost planet?' thought Raven. Even though he was living like a hermit, trying to evade it to be seen by others, he was sure to have listened to some general informations about this planet in the space ship. Finally, he had reached a small vale between foothills, covered by brushes. 'A perfect place for a little morning training...' did Raven think when he observed the surroundings. Then, he pulled up a piece of wood from the ground, which was resembling a sword. 'Just in case... I need to stay in training...' he calmed down the own nerves.
Then he began his training by powering up to maximum. It was to him as if he could hear the voices of the dead, those who powered Raven up after he had absorbed parts of their souls. Again, cold sweat was running down his back. 'Darn it... I am not frightened that much, but now I am trembling because of the wind's howling.' He could have cursed himself for being so naive. Then, after he had finished powering up, the dark purple corona was surrounding his body, giving off waves of energy. He was quite happy with his current power and only wished to stay in training. 'Maybe, some day, I have forgiven myself... Then I may return to H'el... I hope this situation will come once...'
Again, Raven's thoughts were floating off. Being of noble birth does also mean to learn a lot about respect and patience, but Raven felt like having betrayed everything he was taught when he was young. From this feeling also came the intention to leave H'el, just to regain the inner peace he had, long ago.
The sweat was running down the cheeks of Raven while he trained. He did not recognize it, but he increased the intensity. 'It must have to do with the wish of every living being to become stronger...' Raven thought by himself, surveying himself like a ghost; from outside the own body. The waves of energy that his body emitted became stronger and Raven had to remember himself of the need for not being sensed by others who might catch up about the waves. He did not want to be found by others, just because he said to himself that Raven himself would only disappoint and betray everyone around him. 'Like I did with my friend back home...' he said to himself, worried about the thought.
After Raven had finished his training, he sat down on the ground crossing his legs. Luckily, the clothing of the Tou'ron was designed and tailored to go along with such positions. Raven tried to clear his mind from the dark thoughts he had, so that the meditation session could be more intense than the sessions before. Closing the eyes, he started to slow down his breathing until he had reached the meditative level. Suddenly, he rose from the ground like always when he was meditating. The waves of energy that he radiated during training, he could suppress. But the waves of magical power that his body was now giving off, Raven could not hold back. So they emitted at full force, every wave like a gust of wind. The brushes were waving in the 'wind' and Raven still had his eyes closed. Now, there were no nightmares, but dark remembrances.
----------
Raven and the General turned around when they witnessed the sound. Standing in front of a tall man, both did not know what was going on. A second before Raven could call for the guards, the man was speaking. "Hold on, Generals. I did not come to harm... It is my intention to help!"
At first, the two were irritated, but then they decided to listen to the man. He appeared ageless, while it was neither possible to designate whether he was Tou'ron, of Demon origin, or from any other race. He spoke about what had happened in the recent time, but also about something called 'Merge of Souls', which was an ancient technique, but there have to be two almost equal souls to accomplish it. Raven and the Demon were thinking the man to be crazy, but then he revealed his secret.
The man was the first merging between Tou'ron and Demon, creating a completely new entity...
----------
Again, Raven lost the track of the history he was recalling. He was still meditating, gathering his soul, which resembled the charging of Ki like it was done by other races. The Demon General had told Raven about it after they were merged. Since they shared their memories from that point on, one knew what the other individual once had known. The waves were becoming stronger, since Raven had not fully gathered his soul in the recent 5 years. So he did not remember how strong the waves could become. Now, the gusts were very strong, as were the waves. 'I just hope no one senses these waves...' said one Raven to another. It was a specialty of Tou'ron meditation that the person in question could talk to himself.
But in truth, Raven knew that it was nearly impossible not to sense this power source. Even though he was living like a hermit, he was not thick. 'If there are some warriors on this planet who know about energy manipulation... They will certainly find me...' he said to himself while he continued his meditation...
