X felt as if he had been thrown into a blender and spit out. He found himself kneeling down on one knee. A slight bit of smoke billowed upwards from all around him. He could feel that some of his nano-machines had been burned...they easily replaced themselves. If anything had been around it would have smelled a pungent scent of burning.
X slung his left arm up, attempting to disperse the thick amount of smoke that surrounded him. He stood up, squinting his eyes tightly. Attempting to see through the smoke he walked forwards...he noticed he was walking slightly up hill.
There was a strong burst of cold wind and in a moment the smoke had cleared from all around him. He saw that he was at the center of a fairly large crater. Apparently, X had landed in the midst of a mountain range. It was extremely cold at this point...he was fairly high up on the side of a mountain that was covered with a soft layer of snow.
Luckily X had arrived at a time when it was fairly calm on the mountain and the heat of his arrival shielded him from the extreme could. He shook off a bit of the dust from the crater and floated up into the air. X looked in all directions as he floated through the extremely cold sky, it only got colder as he ascended above a thin layer of cirrus clouds...he really had no idea where to go. He didn't even know why he had arrived at this place.
One thing he did know is that he was glad to be alive. He didn't even know how he had emerged as one. He had all these memories, but they were hard to sort. It was as if he had the memories of two separate entities as well as the entire history of humanity all floating about in his mind. But, in reality, it wasn't like that, it was that.
Part of him knew the horrible things he had done...and the other part of him knew how he had vanquished that side of him. X knew that his good side, what was deemed "Benevolence" was the stronger side...it had more potential.
X knew right and wrong...he also knew had he had a limitless potential in both directions. He was constantly at war within himself and he had no choice but to live moment by moment because he was not yet to the point where he could control whether or not he was good or evil...he pondered on the choice...
Good or Evil??
The choice was not as easy as it had once been...but before he had had no choice. At his conception X was completely neutral, but he had the potential for good and for evil...plus the potential for an incredible amount of power. If he truly learned to control his nano-machine technology...but that was not his strongest ability...his soul had been fused with "Psycho" power and "Benevolence" power. They were like Yin and Yang...God had given him just enough power to totally balance out the evil...
X shook his head...at the moment he was completely neutral. He was far less powerful in this state, but his will was his own. He knew that if he let either side of his personality was unleashed than he would be obligated morally to make either good or bad decisions.
X didn't know anything about this planet...he was used to Earth, this definitely wasn't Earth.
X kept on ascending, not stopping as he passed the icy layer of clouds. The blue began to darken as he was passing through the atmosphere. The temperature instantly turned subzero as he exited Eden's atmosphere. He stopped, looking outwards at the stars of this world...things were very different. He wondered how far the Earth was from here...probably infinitely far. He would never see the land of his creation again...he would not partake in the reign of his Lord...
My Lord?
Part of him was extremely happy...the burst of emotion triggered something inside of him...the nano-machines in his body instantly sped up...there was a flare of blue light outwards, like that of a campfire that had just had gasoline poured on it...when the light faded X's hair had changed to blue with white streaks. His track jacket was white with a blue stripe down the arm. His jeans never changed...neither did the tatoos that were on his body or his t-shirt's main black color. Most would never see his tatoos unless he desire to expose it. This was because his jacket was a part of him...only taken off if he desired an asthetic change...he was "Benevolence" X now.
Something within me tells me their is trouble here on Eden...
"Benevolence" X turned around looking downwards at Eden. He noticed that an entire continent seemed gray and desolate...obviously this was a planet ripe with war and destruction.
...will I never see the peace I so desire? I feel so weak now...separated from that which created me...
X's head dropped in sadness...he shook it from side to side...he missed home...and it seemed he would never see "home" again...
