Anyone sitting on the shores of the Great Eastern Continent might be able to see 3 small grey dots on the horizon. If they kept watching, they might see these dots grow larger. And soon after that, they might see the form of 3 small figures, with a foamy spray of water on either side of each.
If they were there, they would soon see the human warrior Jakole coming closer to the shores, with himself on either side. His faces were red, with beads of sweat on his foreheads, and a look of exhaustion. His tattered training wear was blowing back in the feint wind, giving an annoying tug on the warriors speed. He began to slow down as he neared the shore, all 3 of him collapsing on the beach as the water lapped at their heels, before 2 of him dissapeared, trails of light green energy flowing back into it's master.
After a few days, Jakole woke up.
He stood up wearily, wobbling slightly, and looking at the friction marks on his already tattered shoes and trousers.
"I am not doing that again!" He muttered, lifting up his arm to rub his eyes. Then he remembered what he was actually doing!
He jumped up, bending his legs, and then pushing them back, as if kicking off an invisible wall, and blasting off towards the nearest city.
After a few minutes of flying, he came across quite a large city. He lowered himself, not meaning to draw attention to himself, and began to browse through the shops the city held. The first thing that caught his eye was a large shopping complex, mainly full of clothes shops and teenage girls.
Then he remembered what he still truly was. A teenager!
His instincts kicked in, and he almost forgot what he was meant to be doing for a moment. He had one thought in mind.
Jakole was now on the pull!
He strolled into the shopping center, and it was only when he walked past a window that he realized what a mess he currently was!! His hair was blown back by the wind from his journey, his clothes were still torn and battered, and his eyes were bloodshot from having only just awoken. He shot into a nearby shop, and quickly began browsing the clothes shelves.
After hours of browsing, trying on, combing, eating, drinking caffinated substances and buying with the little currency he had, he looked alot better.
His hair had been combed back into it's normal shape, his short curtains stopping just above his eyes, with a split at the front. There was a kink in the hair now however, where a pair of goggle stood, like flight goggles, rested on his forehead. He was wearing a denim jacket, without sleeves, and a black vest beneath that, tightly fitting. He wore a belt, which held up his new jeans, which flopped slightly over the top of the new trainers he had just purchased.
Jakole continued to wonder the complex for a while, often shooting a mysterious glance to a nearby female shopper, and causing a ripple of giggles among the group she was with. he did this with many groups, the sheer thought of it giving him a sense of exitement in itself, before he reached a certain shop. He glanced at the window, and saw something.
It was a small, silver object, flat, almost rectangular except for outward curved shorter edges. It had a circular pattern on it, and a price tag. Jakole took out his wallet, and looked down. He had enough.
He walked in, and looked around. There were a few people checking the shelves, and a certain person that caught his eye. The brunette behind the till, who was brushing her hair, looked over at him as he walked in, and her cheeks immediatly filled with red, as she looked away. Jakole walked over to her, and she looked up again.
"Hello," she said, with a flirty grin, "and what would you be looking for,"
"Well, you can find that out soon, but first I'd like to buy something," He said with a similar grin.
"Well, what would that be?" She replied.
"What exactly is that," Jakole said, pointing over at the item he noticed earlier.
"That," She began, "is a class 5 Hoverboard, which expands to the side of the users."
"Well, how many users would it be able to carry?" Jakole said, giving the shopwoman 'A Look'.
"Well, If you want to test it, I get off work in an hour," She said, picking up a hoverboard from behind the till, "It's on me."
Jakole picked it up and walked towards the door. He took a look backwards.
"I'll be back then," He said.
In an hour and 10 minutes, Jakole was shooting across the ocean again, with a brunette shopkeeper holding him around the waist, as his hoverboard carried them back to Roosland...
