It had been seven years since Daz had appeared in the world of Eden. His small group had traveled countless miles across it. They had traveled miles upon foot across the great western continent, spent almost a year at sea traveling to the place that locals called Big Pine Island. Along the way his small group had earned a small fortune in both supplies and money doing odd jobs on the side, things like helping kill renegades, fighting off small monsters and things of that nature. As Daz and his two companions sat in the small boat they approached the pine covered, misty island. A small chill filled the air as they drew closer and closer to the sandy beaches, an eerie silence in the air. The small row boat pushed up into the sands, and Eldak hoped out. Now 13 years old the boy was thin and lanky, his short brown hair rustling in the small breeze. His eyes were a dark blue, deep, penetrating and understanding. His youthful face turned to his adopted father Daz. The half human, half demon stood up slowly in the boat, stretching his stiff limbs. His black cloak wrapped tightly around his lean frame, as he hopped lightly onto the beach. He had one hand resting casually on the hilt of his magical sword, and the other on his waist as he looked around. "Eldak," Daz said, his voice deep and powerful," Go into the forest and look around." "Yes father," said Eldak. Although he did not agree with his fathers destructive nature, he did get along well with him, and respected him greatly. Eldak moved swiftly up the beach his black cloak whipping around him. Daz rubbed his scarred face he flashed back to his battle with Lunas. In the heat of the fight he had taken a massive lightning blot directly to his face. His skin had healed remarkably from that fight, leaving only the long scar running across his cheek from a different fight. The rest of his body had not been so lucky. His arms, hands and chest were unbelievably scarred. Daz watched as his son was engulfed by the thick mist surrounding the trees. Reaching out with his mind he could feel Eldak using his magic to illuminate his surroundings. Daz had noticed his affinity for magic at a young age. Although very untrained in his craft, the boy could more than hold his own in a fight, as he had don eon countless occasions before. Eldak was the only person that Daz, in his demon possessed state, cared for. Turning to his other companion he said, "Are you happy with this place?"
