Serenade simply starred into the haze of debris caused from the result of his attack as the bell rang and the match ended. He felt quite pleased with his skills and awaited the announcer. The android's "breathing pattern" was a calm the same pattern he had in the beginning in this match. Everything was done perfectly there was no error on his part. Victory therefore was inevitable. This was not the case as the announcer delivered the bad news declaring Omen the winner. Serenade mouth simply dropped as a roar of both defiance and cheers made there way inward to deaf ears. What was his miscalculation? What was done wrong? Serenade played ever one of his move over again coming up with nothing. He did not understand. The android warrior stood slowly with a look of dissatisfaction as he walked and met with his opponent. He extended his shake and spoke his peace, [glow=black,2,300]"Your skill was impressive however I still do not know why I lost this day. Nonetheless you must be commended for your ability and you should know that it will not go unrecognized."[/glow]After the guesture was made Serenade began to walk out of the ring back towards the hotel. A cold wind blew as he left marking the end of a great warrior's path to glory.
Omen was just as surprised as Serenade at the declaration of the winner. Omen was not the kind of person to show emotion, especially a positive one, but he couldn't help but smile.
Serenade approached him and Omen received his hand and shook it firmly. He listened carefully to Serenade's words agreeing with everything he said.
"Likewise", was the only thing Omen could say before his opponent left the arena.
Omen let out a big sigh of relief. Serenade was one of the toughest opponents he had fought against in a while. Sure his bouts with Xarius and The Mime, made him break a sweat, but the outcome of this match was clouded in uncertainty in Omen's mind.
The referee of the match, who actually had a backbone unlike the announcer, braved the disgruntled fans long enough to raise Omen's arms, officially branding him the victor.
Omen put on a serious face, his trademark throughout the tournament, acknowledging that his next fight would be twice as difficult and twice as important than this all of his bouts so far. Omen bowed to his fans in the crowd and made a swift, but graceful, exit.
