The crowd watched, breathless as supercharged warriors duked it out in an old-school brawl
The Archon again the swordsman's attack countered, easily jumping the beam and launching two ki bullets that fired like rockets at the attacking Super Saiyan. Musashi didn't loose his cool, he just swung the beam like a gigantic sword, blasting the bullets from existance before he choked off the energy flow to his beam.
The saiyan's physical assault fared a little better, one of his mighty heel kicks crushing into the Archon's defending arm and slamming it's full energy into the "body" of the ki enhanced Warrior. However, the bulk of his assault was countered by the amazing coordination of the Juin's blocks and defense, leaving Musashi with little reward for his efforts.
The Archon's retaliation was swift and powerful, two seeker bullets that flew around Musashi and penetrated his ever SSJ3 length hair. The hair ignited, but at a slow smoulder but the Saiyan's aura raged with such intensity that it simply blew out the annoying flames before they could do any real damage, leaving Indigo only a small puff of smoke to enjoy from his seekers.
The Archon attacked with blistering speed, throwing out a straight punch. The saiyan went to block as usual, but was taken by suprise by the telekinetic extension on the other warriors hand. The first punched snapped his head back and drew a small patch of blood from the ascended Saiyan and set him up for a gut-wrenching body bunch that brought his head back forward.
Musashi had not trained for nothing, he gritted his teeth, and shunted the pain, contemptously spitting the blood from his lip onto the arena floor as the Archon came on again, with another physical assault. Indigo's right cross chop was indeed blocked by Musashi's instincitvely reinforced right hand. The left thrust was completely off target however. Rather than stand and directly confront the strike as he had before, when he blocked the first psi attack at the elbow the crafty swordsman spun his body towards Indigo's right shoulder, switching from right to left handed blocks as he turned to keep Indigo from sliding the blade around for a lower strike.
But spin had other effects than aiding the saiyan in avoiding the second blade attack: such as adding a massive amount of kinetic energy to anything on the outer radius of it's rotation, such as the right arm that Musashi had easily exchanged for with his left while rotating. Now, with Indigo's arm across his body covering his own left arm (you said cross chop) the saiyan had gotten the benefit of a full 360 degree acceleration bringing his right elbow closed on the Archon's "head" at point blank, aiming for the spot a normal man's neck would be.
Taking advantage of the suprise factor of his attack, the saiyan followed this immediately with a foot sweet of his right leg, hoping to knock Indigo off balance, then a left hand hammer fist, glowing with energy while his right hand resumed defensive duties having been retracted after the massive elbow strike to the temple.
The crowd had reached full blood lust now, seeing the small red spatter on the white tiles of the arena. The judges, in the meantime, were frantically studying the replay, barely able to make out the action, and trying desparately to see which fighter was dominating the action. The huge digital display was ticking it's way towards zero, and everyone was up on their feet, wondering if the match would end in stalemate, or if one of the mighty warriors would finally put an end to the other.
