(OOC: Zakk, in future, don't ever try and save me again.)
Sanity was totally confused at what she saw. It seemed that for no apparent reason, innocent blood was spilled. It would seem that blood spilled because of her. The bodies of the police officers lay within a pool of there own blood. Sanity confused, turned to look at the top of the building, where she had a vision. No one or nothing was there, then out of the corner of her eye, the most dreadful thing she witnessed. A hippy-looking guy was holding a camera and pointed it directly at her. (You will pay for that one day Saymik.) He took off down the alley.
"Hey, get back here." Sanity fled the scene of the crime after the hippy that had video taped her. She turned into the alley, spraying dust up with every step. She continued to run, as she gradually began to gain on the hippy. Looking back, the hippy realised how close Sanity really was. His eyes opened wide with fright, as he seemed to get a little burst of energy, quicken his pace.
"Get back here!!" Sanity screamed at the hippy as she also quickens her pace to excel his. He came to another street that was filled with people. He turned again to see where Sanity was only to run into a woman who had just been shopping. Oranges and apples spilled out from her bags, as the hippy fell hard to the dirt, sending dust into the air. Sanity knew that this was her best chance to catch up to him. The hippy quickly got to his feet only to slip up on an orange. His legs flu up into the air as his back landed straight on the ground.
As the hippy's eyes refocused, he looked up to see Sanity looking directly down on him. She had a put on concerned face...
"O look at you, that must have hurt. Let me help you up." she grabbed the hippy underneath his arms and pulled him up to his feet. She started to dust him off. The hippy was completely confused at the way she was acting. Sanity looked to the ground where she saw his camera.
"O look you have dropped your camera, let me get that for you." As Sanity said this, she stepped on it, breaking it into a thousand pieces. "Opppps, sorry about that." She bent down and picked up the pieces that where still intact. She started to pull out the tape, ripping it to shreds as she did so. "O jeeze now look what I have done." The hippy didn't seem to upset at what she had done, something wasn't right.
"O that's ok. Don't worry about it. I have to go now." He bolted off into a nearby alley. Knowing that this wasn't over, she ran after him, staying out of sight. After a few more alleyways and streets, he final stopped running as she sat up against a brick wall within a dead-end alley. She hid behind a large garbage bin, watching as his pulled out another tape, starting to kiss it. She walked out from her hiding place, coming within a meter of the hippy, before he had realised she was there.
"So, this is the real tape." Sanity said with a stern look on her face. Before the hippy could even think, she snatched the tape from his hands. "Time for some target practice." Sanity places her right hand behind her back, pulling out the silver sawn-off shotgun, which she had only recently acquired. She threw the tape high into the air with her left hand, taking aim with her right. She pulled the unforgiving trigger, releasing the buckshot, smashing the tape into a thousand pieces and hurling them up into the air. Bits of plastic came back to the ground as others flu up onto the roofs of buildings.
Sanity happy with her shot, place the gun back within her coat. She looked down at the hippy, to see a yellow stream of liquid, drip from his pants.
"You didn't see anything." Sanity told the hippy as she started to walk back the way she had came. Before getting to the street, she saw a fire escape that led to the top of a building. Realising that she might be able to see the culprit of the earlier attack, she took up the ladders.
