Mt. Olympia Sports Complex was set on a series of hills at the center of the city Olympia, Generica. On each terraced hill were arrays of tennis courts and basketball courts. There were soccer fields, baseball fields, and football fields all around the bottom of the hills, and a golf course that wound its way around the slopes. And at the center, on the tallest hill, was the grandest stadium of all: Darius Antonius Arena. It had room for about 100,000 people, with suites on two levels, and additional bleacher seating could be placed on the large field when less playing space was needed-- like during the tournament.
Sign-ups for the tournament were going on at the Visitors' Center outside the main arena. The Center itself was massive, with a food court, a number of sports bars, a fitness center/gym, physical therapy rooms, and a museum showcasing every grand sporting event that ever took place there. There were also a number of rooms on above floors where the athletes and competitors could stay. In a surprising turn of events, so many people had purchased tickets that they were letting all of the competitors participate for free, including full access to the visitors center and the rooms. They planned to make this the largest event on the planet.
Fighters were lined up, and the media was hovering around the facility like hawks, bombarding every famous fighter they saw with microphones.
(OOC: Like it says on the board description, this area is for anything happening outside of the matches. Eat, sleep, flirt, or scalp tickets on this board.)
