Kenu was dodging bullets left to right. Also letting the bullets fly from his now acquired Juin Rifle, as he tried to make his way into the city. The rapid-fire mode on his rifle was taking out more Juin soldiers then he excepted, giving Kenu the motivation to continue forward. Kenu’s actions were suddenly stopped, as Juin tanks met with him at the front of the city. Forced to retreat back several yards, Kenu switched the setting of his rifle to a ki wave shot. He knew it would greater his chances of taking the tanks out.
Kenu tried his best to dodge the shots from the tanks, while still attacking with his rifle. Flipping around the battlefield over the tanks and shooting down on them while in mid-air was working for him, until he saw the dark silhouettes of large monsters. Looking up into the sky, he suddenly realized that the first squadron of Juin Pocket Dragons had taken off into the air. He hadn’t even realized the sun was out, until he saw the creatures. I’ll be glad when this war is over. Kenu thought as he flew into the air to face the dragons. If he could take them out, maybe the Allies would still have a chance in this battle. Soaring high into the air, the only thing that could be seen of Kenu from down below was an outline of the fighter, as the bright sun shone behind him.
Kenu watched as his rifle fell towards the ground, against the dragons it would be no use. Below, he could see the Allied tanks rolling along the field, meeting up with the remaining Juin tanks he hadn’t destroyed. Unarmed, Kenu suddenly sensed two missiles approaching him. He quickly charged up an Energy Ha, and shot it towards the oncoming missiles. The Energy Ha connected, and in a flash of light and smoke, all that was left of the destructive objects were tiny fragments.
Knowing that the second squadron of Juin Pocket Dragons would soon be on their way, Kenu had to think of something quick to destroy the first squadron if possible. It would be difficult, but he had to try. Quickly taking out his sword, Kenu closed his eyes and started a chant. He suddenly opened them wide, revealing a flaming red color to them, as his sword ignited with flames. Continuing the chant, the flames of his sword grew to incredible heights as a dragon began to form from it. Kenu then let the flaming dragon loose towards the Juin Pocket Dragons, hoping to turn the creatures into a pile of ashes. But not before making sure that his dragon would not harm the Allied forces in anyway.
Kenu’s flaming dragon spread its fiery wings, as a blood-curling roar was unleashed. The roar was deafening. Kenu had never heard it as loud as this before, nor had he ever seen his dragon as large as it was today. The roar could be heard for miles above all the destruction the war was creating, while the dragon could be seen high above all the smoke and dust. The sun’s rays apparently were adding to the power of the dragon, increasing its strength and size. The flaming dragon locked on its targets, as it then rushed forward to fulfill its duty.
