Musashi’s was running stride for stride with Karacoto, his hand to hand strikes were blocked, but his telekinetic wave ripped the creature’s feet out from under it, sending him tumbling. The saiyan bounced back, toward the downed Draku.
It spoke to him, You can talk about what you would have done all you wish. The reality is, you're going to get pulled into that hole just like the rest of this plagued planet. Damned to an eternity of nothingness.”
”Maybe I will,” the saiyan growled, ”But I’ll have the eternal satisfaction of knowing I destroyed you before I died”
“It's not completely dead, but I'll give you credit, you left a mark with me.”
The saiyan let the remark slide as he landed adroitly next to Draku. The warriors malestrom aura died down a tone as he geared up for his next assault. More and more matter poured into the singularity, rocks flying and magma spurting straight up into the nothingness above. The saiyan warrior could feel the force of it drawing him into the abyss.
He felt Draku’s message enter his mind.
”Musashi, as much respect as I have for you; I have to humbly disagree with your strategy. I'm not going to sacrifice anyone, not you, Veil, Hiei or anyone on this planet. We fight together Musashi, I apologize I haven't been of much help. If anything I've been a burden; I won't let that continue on from this point.”
He responded gently, <You’ve done plenty to help, we’ve fought this thing together, and you’re not sacrificing anyone. The way I see it, killing him is the only thing that has a chance of closing that portal. If we can’t beat him in the next couple moments, somebody has to force him in before that void reaches the planets surface and kills us all. Since you are the only person here who could potentially teleport anyone else off planet to safety, the last choice is pretty obvious.>
The saiyan didn’t sugar coat it. He was pinning his hopes on the idea that killing Karacoto would clsoe the portal. Either way, the probability that they were going to walk away with a victory was looking pretty slim. While the two warriors stood side by side in silent conversation, Karacoto had managed to drag up two rather large energy blasts. Musashi’s aura surged around him as he prepared to engage the creature’s onslaught.
Draku, however beat him to the punch, shattering the beasts energy attack and sending shards flying everywhere before hitting the monster with a punishing physical assault and sending him directly Musashi’s direction.
The saiyan warrior showed teeth in a feral grin. He moved at speed as if he were going to collide straight into the demonic warrior. At the last second however, he stopped short and pivoted, planting his right hand in the volcanic ash as he kicked at his flying opponent with a powerful upward lunging front kick, aimed at snapping the creature up into the dusty air. Even as he launched the kick he pivoted on the down hand, gathering a powerful ultra dense ki ball in his left hand, which he would unleash into Karacoto’s torso at point blank range, intending on adding momentum the the creatures upward turn. Karacoto was going into the abyss.
