The simple japanese style building was painted in earthy browns, pure whites, and accented with deep greens. It seemed almost as though the building was an extention of the ground itself. The Dojo wasn't a large building. It was two storeys tall and about the same size as a large house, which, in fact, it doubled as for its guardian.
A simple set of seven steps led up to a covered balcony and the entrance. The balcony stretched around the perimeter of the dojo and was supported with thick white columns carved with images of martial arts: dragons, swords, peace-inspiring landscapes. It was masterful work.
The entrance itself was no door, but a massive bronze gear carved about with runes delicate as scrimshaw. Though unreadable to all except the most gifted mages; they detailed the story of the dojo's construction and recalled the history of its owner. But, more than that, the runes were a great ward; rolling open to allow in friends, and triggering a deadly trap on enemies.
The main room of the dojo was nearly empty, except for one wall was covered in mirrors, above which hung an emblem formerly bearing two swords and a message that read: These blades, “Truth” and “Justice” belong to the founder of this school, who fell in the battle for Eden XX177, defending those who he loved. They wait here for the return of one who once wore them, or for his chosen champion, to wield them in defense of Eden, in accordance with Bushido” Hanging along the wall opposite to that were three racks bearing weapons of all designs. The floor was of varnished wood and was scuffed with marks from endless hours of training. In the center was a massive painted logo bearing the same crest that hung upon the wall. If the command word was spoken the crest would melt away revealing a set of stairs down to a massive basement, for storage, and for shelter in an emergency.
Immediately upon entering the room to the right were three small rooms, two change rooms and a bathroom. To the left of these was a set of stairs leading to a small dormitory that housed the building's guardian. The building had one other entrance opposite the main one and two windows hung on either side of both entrances.
