(This may be Neojiisued a little bit but the names involved might come through...)
Carnik-u was very bored, the second match had lasted about 2 minutes and he'd just gotten started when the match was called to a close. He hadn't been able to find Jin-x or Roo-s and had been teleported back to the island at about 8 o'clock in the evening. Everything had a blue shade cast over it by the setting sun and the area was illuminated by a few special "TOURNEMENT TORCHES (tm)" dotted around the place. He sighed and started chewing morosely on a hot-dog. The Namek serving it to him looked infuriated
"Look! You're going to put me out of business!"
"Don't care... I'm bored... I've barely had the opportunity to scrape my new abilities. I even went over-board against that Mac-k guy to try and get the whole thing out of my system but I still don't get a decent chance!" He sighed "Hot-dog guy... You ever wonder if maybe it was time you just sat back and took things more seNeojiisuusly? Maybe I should join TEMPLAR. I'm pretty sure Kariu-s would have me"
"Why would he want a mook like you?"
"Because I can fight..."
"Can ya think?"
"Uhhh... well, I'm not an idiot"
"Oh really?" The namek replied sarcastically, Carnik-u sighed and held his hand out expectantly, the Namek growled and slapped another sausage and bun into the humans extended hand
"Thanks, y'know, if you want I could get you a job at Castle Come-a-lot, I'm not sure how but Zammy's gotten us a steady flow of commerce so you could easily make a living"
"Neh, I'll think about it. Roo-sland don't sound that interesting"
"You mean apart from the continous attacks?"
"Yeah, apart from them..." the namek muttered. Carnik-u sighed and swallowed the final hot-dog
"Thanks Floot... If you go there ask for Carnik-u. I might be there, but if I'm not Zammy'll probably come out to apologise and you can handle him"
"Yeah sure... thanks kid" Carnik-u smiled and walked off.
While he considered his place in the world, Carnik-u finally walked into the Tournament's most important lobby and scowled, the third matches weren't up yet. Something was a bit off about this, he went over to the reception desk and shouted to them
"Excuse me?" Silence greeted his enquiry and he moved away, perplexed. Why weren't the third matches up yet? He wanted to start planning in case they got another inhospitable area to battle in. Why wouldn't they be up yet? He knew Roo-s would be at the hotel and he didn't know where Jin-x could be. He walked quietly out of the empty reception area. He took a few steps before hearing a soft crunch behind him, he spun around quickly, a glowing blue ball of Epsilon in his hand, softly shifting and spinning in his palm
"Who's there?" he asked, his eyes searching for some sign of an attacker. He waited, his breathed baited...
((Anyone else can join in if they want, just until Yur-i's ready for Round 3))
