Endless lines of code streamed past their vision, they weren't aware of their bodies, of their selves, only the code telling them what to do, how to properly run their bodies. This sequence had been on going for months, telling the vessels inside precisely what to do, how to react to things, what to expect, what to do, how to think. Everything that made someone a person was being instructed to them in detail by a machine. But, that was what was going to make these two androids so powerful. Normal robotic assasins only had the termination of their target programmed into them, a simple goal, easily wrapped around due to the single-minded nature of the hunt. However, these assasins had a different goal in mind. The man responsible stood in front of their floating bodies and grinned to himself, this was going to be perfect
"So, they don't think these freaks should be registered, eh? That's fine... I'll just have to ensure they get exterminated" He threw his head back and an insane stream of laughter burst forth like a dam, his chuckles echoing through the empty laboratory. The bodies of the few unfortunate scientists who he'd allowed to survive long enough to finish the bodies lay outside with small red holes in them. The gun which had done it still lay on a steel table, the man stopped laughing and mutely adjusted his tie
"Y'know... I think that it's possible that losing my family to those monsters... may have unhinged me somewhat... still no matter. Soon I won't have anything to worry about. Will I my children?" The man leaned in smugly grinning at one of the floating androids. It was here that the one closest to him suddenly, and without warning opened their eyes.
"Hey! Watch where your going bitch!" The punk said to the woman he'd walked into, she fell to the floor, spilling all the shopping she'd bought that day, and glared at him angrily
"Why you... You could see me, why did you do that!"
"Gee, I dunno... maybe it was because you were in my way" The punk kicked her bag away from her and the woman scrambled to pick it up. While she moved the punk kicked her rear and sent her tumbling forwards haphazardly. She sniffed back her humiliation and tried to pick up her bags through tear blurred eyes. She was unaware of the crowd gathering or of the young man who walked forward and challenged the punk
"Leave the lady alone, yeah?"
"Or what, you twig? You gonna hit me"
"If I have to, I'll sort you out proper mate"
"Oh really?" Grunted the punk. The young hero threw a punch but hit nothing at all, he had enough time to blink before a crushing blow hit him square in the side of the head knocking him into a coma. The normal human skull couldn't take an impact of that strength. The punk snorted and turned away from the still body of the man trying to help an innocent woman, looking at the terrified faces of the crowd
"What'chu going to do about it? HA? Any of your normal humans gonna take on someone with Super Powers?"
"Super-human..."
"Huhn?" The punk looked confused but his confused look was quickly wiped clean by a hand touching his solar-plexus. He glanced down, more annoyed than hurt until a sudden surge of pain flood through him. He felt surrounded by green light and screamed as his body flashed with the verdant colour. With a soft sizzle, his body fell forward and landed in a heap on the floor, smoke rising from his back and his mouth open. No breath was coming out. The person who'd killed the Punk simply turned and left. This was it's mission. The only question was who was next?
